I would never recommend this place EVER!!! Chop shop for sure. I had these reference pics and I said this is what I'm looking for and I got the late 90's early 2000's chop shop equivalent. Pics say everything needed. I was rushed the whole time. Was NOT gentle at all she was very forceful. I didn't feel good what I went so I was just trusting her judgement bad idea it was dark in the shop so it was hard to see how the nails truly looked. Had to get them fixed and even then somehow got more aggressive and completely ignored what I was saying they needed to be reshaped and repainted and at that point I just asked for them to be a solid color. I put the rhinestones on them after they were fixed so you couldn't see the paper towel still stuck to the nail. The acrylic starts at 2 week retention because she didn't properly prep my cuticle and nail bed. Wasn't even worth fighting for you could tell there would just be arguments judging by the experience. Asked for acrylic overlay on my toes got gel X so I was like okay they're cute whatever. Well when I went to add my rhinestones to my toes I realized they're only half glued down like what is this. I would never recommend to anyone please head my warnings. I paid 165 for this and that's my mistake but like I said I wasn't feeling good I didn't want to argue or fight. Beyond the nails themselves and customer service being absolute trash they were using used nail files before I got them fixed there was places the gel wasn't even cured major code violations btw uncurled gel has chemicals that can harm you for those who don't know but it was so dark I couldn't tell til I got out and got home and genuinely looked at them. I went because the first time I went I had the best tech she did the most beautiful Christmas nails she's not there anymore I hope she found out she's worth more for real. read more

Do not recommend!!!! I loved my tec but they charge way too much. I never heard of a salon charging for taking off the old polish. I live in NY & I'm visiting with my sister. I needed a SNS manicure. Ny I pay $33.00. This place charged me $51.00. They charged to remove my old polish, and then they charged me for a gel overcoat, which I never asked for. With the SNS powder you do not need the gel. They are a rip off & I will not be going back. When I move down here I will find a real nail salon. read more

I'll preface this review by saying I came with someone local to the area who seems to like the place and knows the workers. Ok. Also, I have had many pedicures from NY, NJ, to MD and DC. So I know what's supposed to happen. I walk in and notice a few workers say "no, I have an appointment." So not exactly welcoming. There was also a stench- not sure if it was the Chinese food next door mixed with their chemicals or what. But yech. Luckily they opened the door and left it open to aerate the place. Now I liked that they had sanitized instruments in packages- A+. Each basin had plastic covers which, meh, not my favorite. The place also needed some fixing- a light was missing a cover, the tables were not pristine. Could be better. The pedicure itself was pretty good. I didn't care for the remarks like - don't keep your nails so short. Like, they're my nails! Lol Idk. It was an OK experience. Fine seeing that I was traveling but I'm glad it's not my primary place. read more

I had an appointment for 1:00 and ended up having to wait until 3:36 to get started. Staff was rude and the lady who did my nails made me bleed about 4 different times. It was dirty. Wont ever recommend and will not be coming back here again. read more

We come here all the time. Last visit was exactly the same as this visit. 3 pedicures and 1 manicure. Last time is was a total of $144 including tip. This time they charged $176 plus I gave $20 tip so, $196. They charged $38 for each pedicure, an extra $5 to take off old gel and then an extra $15 to use gel (last time they only charged $5 for Gel with no charge to take it off). They also charged an extra $5 for my daughters french so, for her it was a total of $63 for a french gel pedicure ($38+$15+$5+$5). Mine was ($38 + $15 + $5). Mom was $38 + $17 (pedicure+manicure). Rude and unprofessional. My first time @ Touchè. I Made an appt the day before. Got there on time. A nail tech by the front door (w/a client) asked what we wanted... response: pedi w/appt (all great so far). No receptionist (hmmmm) All chairs filled with people (hmmmm) Sat down and waited. No one said a word to me for the 1st ten minutes of my wait (e.i. "So sorry, it'll be another minute") I was not acknowledged. Not one person in a chair was appearing to be close to complete. Since I've been on this carousel before (making appointment; yet, waiting an HOUR to be put in a chair... albeit a diff salon). I decided no more than 10min will I wait, given I had an appt. 10 min passed. Still not acknowledged. I have been twice now! I did not have a good experience the first time but thought I'd give it another shot! Big mistake! The girl working at the station closest to the register has done my nails 2 times now and both times has caused me to bleed! Today left with 3 cuts around my nails from her rushing with the file and rotary tool! We will see how this manicure holds up but the top coat peeled off within in days last time! read more

I went there because it is close and people liked them on yelp. I will NEVER go again! It is less expensive than where I used to go, but I moved. The topcoat peeled off my nails in less than 24 hours and since I started having my nails "dipped" 2 years ago have never broken a nail. I broke 2 in 2 days after having my nails done. They sand the old polish off and also the top layers of your nails making them weak. They also sand your cuticle off and cut my toes and my fingers doing so. Van did my mani/pedi. Awesome job. The only complaint I have is that the mani table should be spotless. Get rid of nonsense on the table and it could quickly be sanitized between clients. I FOUND OUT WHERE NOT TO GO TODAY!! Wanted to try a new place tried touche nails on Barclay and spring hill! Can i just say i have been getting my nails done for 25 years i get solar well here they call it pink and white with colored powder! Sat in 3 different seats one person took off my nails another put on new ones and then the powder... i must have been asked 5x what i wanted! Finally i asked if they knew what they were doing!! The one lady said only a few people do this kind of nail and tgey are super busy (3 people were there at that time) AND I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! The pink is way to pink again after 25 years i know i get med pink... its dark pink i mean the guy did an ok job but cant wait for 3 weeks to get them taken off and start over! Prices were outrageous and the place was filthy!!! Can i just add i am not one of those picky people, but for goodness sake's 3 hours in and no one knew what they were doing! read more

I like coming to Touche very much. Lily was very professional with me. She noticed I had a blister on my feet from new shoes that I tried to break in & was very careful & gentle when handling my toes as she was giving me the pedicure. She also asked if I had any ingrown toenails as she did not want to hurt me. Lily also did my French Dip nail refill on my hands. Absolutely excellent & a perfectionist! This place was ok. It wasn't the cleanest and it wasn't the dirtiest. The lady doing my nails must have had a cold or something. Her nose was running and she had to keep stopping to wipe it. All the while I had to keep telling her to wash her hands.I opted to have my nails dipped($30) A bit over priced. The lady doing my nails kind of just rushed through them. It was my second time there while visiting family. I was a walk in for a manicure and pedicure. My first instinct was to leave because the place was dark, the polish was an unknown brand to me and it all looked old - I think they realized by my reaction which I believe was not obvious but they immediately said we have more colors on the hallway wall - well that was worse. The polishes looked like they sitting around for awhile. It was early AM but they had a fan blasting and an action movie playing. Isn't getting your nails done supposed to be relaxing? Here no. At that point, I was there already and said to myself I'll just give them a try The technician was pleasant but had to work under tough circumstances - the lighting was horrendous, the polish was thick and the place was not cheap. The end of the story is my manicure lasted less than 12 hours. It chipped and looked like it was easily a week old. That's more than $1 an hour for a manicure that I now need to have redone or just get the remover myself to take off. My fingers are crossed for the pedicure. Not thinking I'm going back. At Tammy's request I called the salon to discuss my review, I was told there is no Tammy here. I explained I called at her request to discuss yelp post and they said they couldn't help me.
