Able to make a same day appointment with Kathy, for pedicure, nail gel removal and dip added. Upon entering the salon, found the renovations were a total flip and tastefully done! Kathy is very personable and very detailed with her services. I agree with previous review from Lindsay R. that Kathy made you feel valued. She does take pride in her work and made sure I was comfortable, especially with removing the gel finish. Highly recommend you give California Nails a try...you won't be disappointed!

I will never visit again spent about one minute, taking out my cuticles and 15 seconds, scrubbing my feet had to correct them a few times. When I was done, the polish looks so bad. She was very thorough and took her time with me. I picked out a color, then realized the color was very close to the same color as my skin and didn't want to look like I had no nails, lol. So, I asked Kim if I could change the color and she suggested a very pale pink which I love. I've already had several compliments on the color. The salon is your typical salon. Nothing fancy, and I was shocked there were no TV's in here to help pass time rather than staring at the lady doing the nails lol. It was a bit awkward for me, but it was fine. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because my nails are pretty thick so that makes me think she might be a little less experienced than the others. I don't think I'll be returning. 9/7/21 I got my first service from this salon today. I did the $25 pedicure and the $15 gel polish. The gentleman did a great job with the foot and leg massage and warm towels. He took his time and didn't rush. My only issue is that he cut down the sides of my big toenails, like he was a podiatrist. I'm praying I don't get bad ingrown nails from it.

She told him how it's always been done differently where she has it done ( she's visiting) and he said "always done like this". When I was standing there I saw glue or gel all over her finger.
