The staff at the front is really nice. They do try to upsell the products and packages, which sometimes are good deals. The spray tan system is pretty easy to follow, gives great results, and is a quick process in and out of the salon. I recommend going mid day or not peak hours to avoid long wait times.

Pros of this spot are the 24/7 access if you purchase a fob--this would be amazing as no other company allows 24/7 access! It is also on a points system, so you can pay different amounts based on how much you want to tan and what beds you use. I also like that there are cleaning stations in every room for when you come after yours--during staffed hours they clean the beds and give you a cool towel which smelled great. The biggest con to me is the countless sales they pitch every time you come in. I counted 3-4 different upgrades/products pitched to me each of my first 3 visits, but was lucky enough to come in between customers on a busy day on my last visit so this was not an issue. They are not overly pushy, but definitely take a lot more of everyone's time upselling than is comfortable. The other big con for this bed is that if you lay as you are supposed to with your face under the face lamp, your shoulders are not getting light! The picture here shows what I'm talking about--it just doesn't make sense why a bed would be made this way. I believe it must be pretty dated for that reason, but I did develop color in 3-4 sessions. All in all this was well worth the $13. If they had a great deal on a membership I would consider buying one, but would make it a point to go only after staffed hours to avoid all the many sales pitches.

After they talked me into buying a bottle of the "special" body wash needed so you don't wash away your tan in the shower, my total was still almost $50.00! So basically I was paying almost $100 for ONE spray tan. I followed instructions carefully - don't wear tight clothing when going to get the tan because it may rub off after the appointment. Only used the "special" body wash I bought from them. I showered 24 hours later and I literally watched the spray tan wash off of my body in the shower by just having the water run down me and I hadn't used the body wash yet! After the shower, patted dry. There seemed to be some tan left but not much. Waste of money!! I will never ever get a spray tan again! Previous to my appointment, I had tried to call the Village Point location for days - every time getting their answering machine and I would leave a message with my number and NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK! I then tried calling other locations, same thing. Answering machine. I was calling during business hours. I finally messaged Palm Beach Tan's Facebook page and someone did reply. So I give one star because of lack of communication and then charging me so fricken much for a spray tan that washes off in one day!! I will not return and cannot recommend them to anyone.

When he spoke to a representative at Palm Beach he was informed that he had done everything correctly to have the service cancelled and that they could not figure out why we continued to be automatically billed. We did end up getting our refund, but being that we followed the proper steps to ensure the auto billing was cancelled and they couldn't figure out why we continued to be charged, there is no way we will go back.

The person at the desk said I could only do one (bed or spray) because she did not have help to close and she was not going to stay late. I asked if I could have the manager's name. She said she was the manager. Ainsley was her name. I drove to the Aksarben location for the second half of the double dip, as they are open 1 hour later than the Q Street location. When I checked in at Asksarben, they were obviously confused as I had just completed a tan at another location. When I explained why I had to drive to a second location to finish the double dip, they were shocked at the poor service I received on Q. I have received great service at both Aksarben and Eagle Run. I will drive out of my way to these locations even though the 96th and Q location is much more convenient.
