Overall it was well…read moreworth the price, which came to a little over $13 including the $5 scan card you must purchase to tan here. Pros of this spot are the 24/7 access if you purchase a fob--this would be amazing as no other company allows 24/7 access! It is also on a points system, so you can pay different amounts based on how much you want to tan and what beds you use. I also like that there are cleaning stations in every room for when you come after yours--during staffed hours they clean the beds and give you a cool towel which smelled great. The biggest con to me is the countless sales they pitch every time you come in. I counted 3-4 different upgrades/products pitched to me each of my first 3 visits, but was lucky enough to come in between customers on a busy day on my last visit so this was not an issue. They are not overly pushy, but definitely take a lot more of everyone's time upselling than is comfortable. The other big con for this bed is that if you lay as you are supposed to with your face under the face lamp, your shoulders are not getting light! The picture here shows what I'm talking about--it just doesn't make sense why a bed would be made this way. I believe it must be pretty dated for that reason, but I did develop color in 3-4 sessions. All in all this was well worth the $13. If they had a great deal on a membership I would consider buying one, but would make it a point to go only after staffed hours to avoid all the many sales pitches.

She took great notes and remembered me during my next visit. I will say it's not the most relaxing of places compared to the spas you go to where you undress and get the warm robe. The music can be a little loud (slower modern hits, no typical spa music). HOWEVER, what you get for the money is incredible. The tables are still comfortable, there's a soft blanket and I just am sure to wear cozy clothes. The environment didn't stop me from almost falling asleep.

She asked me about my skin, the products I use, where I shop, and explained every step of the process. I also loved that they sell ZERO products. At my most recent appointment, I waited 20 minutes past my scheduled time with no update. When I finally got up and walked around, someone apologized and explained that the previous appointment had been scheduled incorrectly and they would be with me shortly. Even after that, I was still waiting with nothing more than "she'll be with you shortly." What I don't understand is why none of this was communicated when I checked in. If I had known there would be a delay, I would have rescheduled instead of wasting time I had planned my day around. This has never been an issue in the past, which makes it even more disappointing. Because of the lack of communication and consideration for my schedule, I'll be going elsewhere. I truly hate to leave my stylist, but I need a salon that communicates clearly and respects clients' time.
