Pros of this spot are the 24/7 access if you purchase a fob--this would be amazing as no other company allows 24/7 access! It is also on a points system, so you can pay different amounts based on how much you want to tan and what beds you use. I also like that there are cleaning stations in every room for when you come after yours--during staffed hours they clean the beds and give you a cool towel which smelled great. The biggest con to me is the countless sales they pitch every time you come in. I counted 3-4 different upgrades/products pitched to me each of my first 3 visits, but was lucky enough to come in between customers on a busy day on my last visit so this was not an issue. They are not overly pushy, but definitely take a lot more of everyone's time upselling than is comfortable. The other big con for this bed is that if you lay as you are supposed to with your face under the face lamp, your shoulders are not getting light! The picture here shows what I'm talking about--it just doesn't make sense why a bed would be made this way. I believe it must be pretty dated for that reason, but I did develop color in 3-4 sessions. All in all this was well worth the $13. If they had a great deal on a membership I would consider buying one, but would make it a point to go only after staffed hours to avoid all the many sales pitches.

As a former tanning salon employee/manager, I also know what a nightmare it can be when it comes to lotion. Other salons make you feel like you are in a car dealership, in regards to pressuring you to buy lotions. While they are essential to developing and maintaining a gorgeous glow, you won't have to worry about getting hounded here...ever. If you have any questions, they will always be ready to help you. whatever it may be. Price-wise, they are right on target if not less expensive in the long run. They are straight shooters here. Level one beds for beginners, level two for advanced. It is a single, easy price for unlimited tanning on either level. (They have minute and session packages + spray tans and even red light beds as well if wish to go that route.) Rest assured there are no gimmicks, no hidden charges, no "membership fees", or any of the other garbage marketing schemes you will find at many of the other salons. If I wanted to purchase my own bed to use at home daily and accounted for the monthly payments, electricity usage, and regular maintenance/upkeep of the bed/bulbs, I can easily say it would be a lot more than $60/month! It is pretty simple - If you want a radiant tan for a great price, then come to Gretna Touch-n-Tan! p.s. Went in for a spray tan before going on a vacation. I had a $50 gift card thinking that would cover…read morethe ONE spray tan. After they talked me into buying a bottle of the "special" body wash needed so you don't wash away your tan in the shower, my total was still almost $50.00! So basically I was paying almost $100 for ONE spray tan. I followed instructions carefully - don't wear tight clothing when going to get the tan because it may rub off after the appointment. Only used the "special" body wash I bought from them. I showered 24 hours later and I literally watched the spray tan wash off of my body in the shower by just having the water run down me and I hadn't used the body wash yet! After the shower, patted dry. There seemed to be some tan left but not much. Waste of money!! I will never ever get a spray tan again! Previous to my appointment, I had tried to call the Village Point location for days - every time getting their answering machine and I would leave a message with my number and NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK! I then tried calling other locations, same thing. Answering machine. I was calling during business hours. I finally messaged Palm Beach Tan's Facebook page and someone did reply. So I give one star because of lack of communication and then charging me so fricken much for a spray tan that washes off in one day!! I will not return and cannot recommend them to anyone.
