I have never tanned or gotten a spray tan before and I was extremely nervous due to some body image issues. I got to Shannon's adorable studio in Papillion and was so nervous walking in but that all immediately went away as soon as I walked in the door. She was beyond welcoming and the studio just smelled amazing. I was thinking it would smell horrible given the smell I have smelled walking by some salons that offer spray tanning services but it was the opposite. From the start she just made me feel comfortable! She has a waiting area and a then a very private area where she does the tans. She brought me back and explained everything! She let me know why she was doing the things she was doing, in terms of using a mit to pat certain areas after spraying, and why she applied a barrier to certain areas, and why she used a powder after the tan in certain areas. I felt at ease as Shannon explain it is more than a spray tan but can be life changing for people like me with body image issues. It was such a wonderful experience and the tan looks amazing. Shannon was such a pleasant person to work with! I have had many spray tans in the best and she was hands down the best! She gave great instruction for pre/ post tan and even gave me free samples to help keep the tan lasting longer. She made me feel so comfortable and we even had a full on conversation during my tan, can be hard when you are stripped down in front of someone you have never met! After researching where to get a good spray tan in Omaha, I found Shannon's business, No Bake Just Fake. After reading the reviews on Yelp and on her website, I booked an appointment. Shannon texted me instructions the day before my appointment for how to best prepare for my tan, which I really liked. Shannon took her time to make sure she gave the best tan possible. She ends each session by applying powder to areas that rub/sweat the most so you don't get creases and streaks. She even sends a follow up text the next day to make sure everything is going well. Absolutely pleased with my spray tan, I was a little nervous having it done because I have only ever used a machine, not a person! Shannon did a fantastic job of making me feel very comfortable!! Shannon was very professional yet warm and welcoming. She made me feel at ease, which isn't easy since you're almost naked when getting the spray tan - but I did feel comfortable. I had always been a tanning booth user until I had melanoma removed last year. I was referred to No Bake Just Fake and I'd never go back to the booth. Not only are the results instant but also much safer. I like the fact that Shannon sprays the tan and pats it in, to ensure even even coverage and no streaking! Shannon was great! I had her due a spray tan the day before I went on a cruise to get some color before I left and you would never know it was a spray tan. The color was great and I was not orange at all. She came right to my house and did it in my living room. There was no mess or smell at all. What a great experience.
