Upon arriving I filled out some paperwork then Kayla brought be back to the treatment room, which was very cozy and aesthetic btw! She sat down and asked about my current routine and answered any questions I had before the treatment as this was my first time doing this treatment. After explaining how everything worked she began the service. It lasted about an hour and it was so relaxing I had almost fallen asleep a few times! They even played relaxing white noise music, and there was minimal chatting during the service so I was able to clear my mind and relax while getting pampered. AVOID! DO NOT GET LASER/IPL AT BODYBRITE! I won an auction for several services/treatments at BodyBrite and one was for IPL. I previously had a vampire facial by a medical doctor at a medical facility so I understood the intensity involved. Bodybrite's policy is to conduct a pre-test to determine how your skin reacts to the laser. I have some age/sun spots on the back of my hand so Kaitlyn (the nurse) decided that would be a good testing spot. Kaitlyn said she was going to apply the laser a little longer to the age/sun spots. Then she moved the laser down my hand and applied the laser to another age spot. The next day I left to go on vacation. After my vacation, I returned to BodyBrite to show them that deep wounds had formed in those 2 areas. I now have two permanent scars: a noticeable 1-inch scar on the back of my hand and a smaller round scar. My point in writing this is to warn others to AVOID BODY BRITE and any other establishment where nurses are performing laser treatments/procedures. They might be "trained" or "qualified" or have a "certificate" but it is insufficient based on the results I received. What if this had happened to my face? In my opinion, only a medical doctor should perform these treatments. So, please seek a higher standard of care. Save your money and more importantly your skin. read more

The teeth whitening process was very painful. I have had this process done several times over the years, and this was not typical of my past experiences. I was told I would have two 20 minutes segments. The first 20 minutes were so painful I couldn't do the 2nd session. My lower lip is swollen and the teeth definitely aren't any whiter. I had an Oxygen Facial with Drew, he was super personable and you can tell he loves what he does!! This was my first time ever getting a facial and he was very informative by explaining the step by step process as well as the benefits of each step. He was also able to thoroughly answer any questions I had about the different services BodyBrite has to offer. One thing I really admired was that he didn't push product! This happens too much in spas and it really hinders the experience, in my opinion. He explained the products he used along the way and how each would benefit my main areas of concern, which is dry skin and dark circles. He came from a place of concern and wanting to help rather than just sell me a product. He really took his time throughout the facial and made sure it was very relaxing for me. I've been to BodyBrite for two sessions so far on the back of my neck, and I have to say I'm very impressed. After just the first session, my barber asked if I had shaved my neck before coming in - there was barely any hair growth. I'm currently at 3 weeks past my second session at BodyBrite, and it basically feels like peach fuzz on the back of my neck. I'd guess it will take 4 sessions to completely stop my hair from growing on the back of my neck, which is awesome. Even if I miss a haircut appointment, the hairline will still look "clean" back there. Nothing worse than neck hair poking out over the back of the collar of a dress shirt or a suit! As a guy, I felt a little 'odd' going to a hair removal place that I personally had assumed was intended for women. The staff greeted me right as I walked in, and to my surprise, there was another dude in the lobby waiting for his treatment. I also noticed that they have privacy screens up on the windows for those of you that prefer a certain level of confidentiality. The treatment itself was quick, easy, and painless. I was led into a large treatment room by their nurse, and sat on a really cool chair/lounge thing. Once you don some really fancy shades, I think my whole neck took maybe 10-15 "zaps", and maybe a total of 5 minutes. Much quicker than I thought it would have taken, which is great. As far as the feeling goes, I wouldn't say that I have a high pain tolerance, but it didn't really feel like much at all. It certainly didn't hurt. And, once the session is over & they put some lotion and sunblock on it, there weren't any residual effects - it wasn't warm, sore, dry, or anything. Great place that offers several services. They always have specials so just wait for the one you want. Staff is very kind. I've gone to the same could of ladies for my laser and they are very pleasant and conversation. This is good as it takes the ease off the jolt that makes me jump a little every time. I like that this place offers ice packs to numb the area-others do not. Last but I would like to add is that the laser actually works. I've seen great results! I've had laser done before. Unfortunately it didn't have as good of results so I'm having them go back and do it! Worth every penny! read more

I've had a handful of treatments on my back (my girlfriend made me) and they have all been great experiences. The hair is almost gone and they have always gone the extra mile on every visit. Everyone is kind and welcoming. I know it's 2018 but for me it was a little weird going to get hair removal treatments, but everyone made me feel very comfortable and where easy to talk to. I'm sure the schooling and laser machine is not cheap so in my opinion there prices are absolutely fair!! It's been a very positive experience for me. I went to the Omaha, NE Bodybrite on 3/20/21 and paid $270 for a three-treatment package for my forearms. After the first treatment, no hair came off so I called the office to express my concern. I was told that I should come in for another treatment and if it didn't work the cost of the package could be refunded. After the second treatment not only did no hair come off, but I had blisters all over my arms. I again contacted the office, this time to request a refund since the treatments obviously were not working and the last one had been quite painful. I've been calling periodically since then and was given a variety of different excuses as to why no refund had been issued. My calls are no longer returned, even when I request that the manager contact me. Not only is this an unprofessional way to do business, but I've paid nearly $300 for blisters and a service I didn't receive. I've contacted the corporate office and received no response. read more

After three visits. I have only had one good experience. The first two were horrible. The last one I just had was better the nurse that did my laser was more precise than before. I am VERY satisfied with BodyBrite! Holy Moly- my results have been pretty much life-changing! I have (had) dark, coarse hair. Shaving left ingrown hairs and a "shadow". Waxing and "Epilady" lasted a week or 2, but always resulted in MANY ingrown hairs. Finally figured that I've tried everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING), so why not? After the 1st session, didn't notice a lot of difference, but 2 weeks later- ??? I almost completely stopped shaving! I have only had 2 sessions so far, but I am only "touching up" with a razor every 2 weeks or so! No ingrown hairs- most hairs are GONE, and the ones that are still *trying* to grow are so fine they are hard to see! Laura Creamer, the RN doing the removal, is great! She explains what to expect and is very thorough! I have another appointment today, and I have been "growing out" for 2 weeks- ad I am still in shorts and a tank top! As I said; life-changing to not have to shave daily. And no more skirted swim bottoms for me; the ingrown haired and shadow are gone! Notes; 1. Don't expect to walk our hair free- the hair has to "work its way" out before it's gone. Took me about 2 weeks to see major difference. (Also, you hair tends to "fall out". which is kind of cool) 2. This is not pain-free. The nurse will numb the area with a freezer pack, but if you are sensitive, take some Tylenol before you go in. 3.This is a 9 month process; you will not get rid of all your hair the first (or second, or 3rd) time you go. Hair growth happens in stages- some follicles are dormant, so you have to go over months to make sure you are "zapping" them when they are in their growth stage. (yes, I did a bunch of research 1st!) 4. Everyone's hair is different- if they say it might not work for you, believe them. If they say you are a great candidate, same. You lucky ladies with baby-fine blonde hair (aside from making me sick-lol) may not get as good of results. read more

Would not recommend this place for laser hair removal. I visited multiple places and decided to go to this spot due to my mother knowing one of the owners. Up until the last 4 or 5 treatments, the girls doing my treatments were very unprofessional and rushed through everything. When I finally was getting one person constantly doing them, she would look at my charts and said she almost had double the amount of lasers compared to my charts in the past. She realized this was not ok, due to me paying all that money and not getting it done correctly and spoke to Dawn but nothing was done. I paid A LOT of money to get my entire body treated and not one part I can see a difference in hair growth. I haven't had a treatment in about 3 or 4 months because I finished all the ones I bought and again, it was a waste of time and money. I called this place and asked to schedule appointment for the package that i purchased. I told them i missed the appointment and i did not get a reminder, and asked them that it was last week and no one from your office even bothered to call to make the next appointment ether. I did NOT ask to refund or reschedule missed appointment. I simply asked them why would they not call back ether since they have my money. Instead of working with I was yelled at phone and hung up. I tried to tell her hey i called simply to make an appointment and the lady kept screaming and telling me: "Let me finish" I was not even given a chance to speak. Instead my head was chewed off. The fact that someone can talk to human being that way is mind-blowing. The lady went on saying Quote: " We have thousand and thousand of customers and we simply do not have time to call and check on each of them, and my old manager was so wrong telling us that customers are always first and she is wrong...... " Did i really needed to hear what old manager was saying NO. But the point is If you have thousands and thousands of customers and you cannot take care of them ( and who you already charged and you getting paid from my money) then you should change your strategy. I have had a very disappointing experience at BodyBrite. First off, they never have any availability in the evenings or Saturdays when working people can make it. They are usually booked up 5 to 6 weeks in advance. Next the last two times I went there they sent me back because I had hardly any growth (not my fault that the hair growth has slowed down after 1 session), and now they are charging me $50 for postponing an appointment because I could not make it for a business reason. They say they cannot bear a loss again!! When the first 2 times they sent me back! Just a rip off!! And pretty painful too! I would recommend that no one goes here. Now I am stuck for having paid for 6 sessions. They took away one session from me as penalty and are refusing to refund!! Horrible place! Beware ladies. Save your money and sanity!! read more

I am writing simply because I do not want anyone to go through what I did. Where do I begin? I had three sessions including a consultation using a coupon and each time I visited I was uncomfortable. The day of my consultation I drove 25-30 minutes across town after teaching Kindergarten all day. I arrived precisely on time and was told I had to reschedule because I was pushing back the next appointments. They were able to 'squeeze' me in the next day, but not without making me feel like I was an inconvenience. I was hesitant to even return. The next visit I arrived 10 minutes early because of my previous experience, and I was not called back until 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. (I made note of this specifically because of my first experience). The third visit was no different. I was waiting in the lobby and another client walked in late and stated, "Sorry, I'm late I was going to call." They told her not to worry they will just push everyone back and call them. I was confused as to why I was being treated different. Why was it okay that she was actually late, but I was on time? Then, when I'm early I get called back late? Other things include: I found it hard to schedule an appointment each month, because they were always so booked. I am naturally light brown, being multiracial, and was not told anything prior to starting my treatment that this was an issue. I began my treatment late spring and was told not to come back until late fall. I believe this is something that should be mentioned upon consultation. My boyfriend has received laser treatment from another company and we would often compare notes. He was not treated this way. This was a very, very disappointing experience! read more

I am 4 sessions in for IPL hair removal treatments at Body Brite, and I am already having great results. I hardly ever have to shave my underarms and the growth is now very fine. The hair growth in my bikini area has also slowed considerably. All of my sessions have been with Darci Ekstrom. She is incredibly kind, compassionate and funny, and her calming presence immediately puts me at ease and completely minimizes any self-consciousness I may feel. She also goes out of her way to minimize any physical discomfort. Everyone at the office has been kind to me, and they have never kept me waiting longer than a few minutes. Don't ever go here. Bought a Groupon for over $100 and scheduled an appointment. I had to reschedule because an unexpected work trip came up. When I called and cancelled, I was told it was no problem and they got me in the next Friday. Went in (drove all the way across town) and filled out 4 pages of paperwork. Waited 20 minutes and then was told I owed them a $50 cancellation fee. I was never told about this when I initially rescheduled, and could not believe this is how they treat their new business. Especially when I rescheduled an appointment not even 5 days later. I bought a groupon for 2 oxygen facials. I redeemed one and went in to redeem the 2nd and the front desk gal said I didn't have a 2nd groupon. I explained that I bought one groupon for 2 oxygen facials. After much deliberation she finally found that I indeed did have another facial on my groupon. She then told me I could only redeem one groupon per account. I said "so you are saying although I bought one groupon for 2 facials I can only use one per account"? She said yes. I told her the groupon didn't say that. She pulled up the groupon and it said limit of one groupon per person per visit. NOTHING about one groupon per account. She made it clear that I couldn't buy anymore groupons on my account as they only make like $20 so they don't make any money. Um....not my problem. Don't advertise on Groupon then. I told her $20 was better than "0" which is what they would have gotten from me without the groupon. I also told her if they are on groupon how can they keep people from buying multiple groupons if they want? Needless to say she was VERY unfriendly, argumentative, and made my entire experience most unpleasurable. She does not need to worry about me buying another groupon as I will not be back. That being said, the gal who actually did do my facial was courteous and did a very nice job.
