I had always gone to a different place to get my eyebrows threaded but it is pretty far from where I live and completely out of the way so I decided to try Santhi's. It seemed like they were taking the proper precautions due to COVID and I appreciated the extra effort. The sign on their door instructed you to text them when you arrive and they will come out and greet you. Well, the lady ended up being late and then when I went in she then stated she could only take cash which I then had to go to the bank and get cash to pay her. She was nice enough to still thread my eyebrows but I feel like that is something that should be told to customers right away. When my appointment was complete another customer came in, unmasked, and wasn't in her car waiting to be called in. I don't really understand why there are specific instructions to protect employees and other customers if there are the few customers that just don't seem to car that a global pandemic is still prevalent. I appreciated the effort in keeping me safe during this challenging time for businesses, I also appreciated that she let me get cash to pay her as well. My eyebrows turned out okay, different from the lady I normally went to but right now I think I will hold off getting my eyebrows threaded again until next year some time. read more

I've been here a number of times and have been very happy with the results. I often forget to make an appointment, but never have to wait long. I love my eyebrows and feel like the results are better and last so much longer than waxing. The prices are reasonable and they are open later than some other businesses, making it easy for me to swing by after work. I haven't tried any of their other services yet, but will in the future. Great little business! read more

My first and last visit here was about 4 days ago. I scheduled an appointment for eyebrow threading and tinting, and boy, do I have regrets. I walked in with thick, full eyebrows and left with very thin, very dark eyebrows. Seems others have had the same experience here and I wish I had read reviews before scheduling my appointment. Based on all the negative eyebrow reviews, it would probably benefit the salon to ask customers what they would like their eyebrows to look like instead of just saying, "lean back" and beginning the over-threading process. The total cost was $50 before the tip-- for this amount, I should not have left with '90's Sharpie-style eyebrows. read more

I never ever leave bad reviews as I don't want to be a "Karen" but this was just awful. I love my eyebrows and they have always been thick and nicely shaped. 7 weeks of quarantine left me with very unruly brows and my normal eyebrow lady was not yet open so I decided to give this a try. She made my eyebrows so incredibly thin and one is a completely different shape than the other. Not only that, but she also irritated my skin to the point that it was peeling which had NEVER happened to me before. Overall she was very rough and completely butchered my eyebrows. I'm so disappointed and I can only hope that castor oil will save my brows. I will say that she was accommodating and the interior of her place is very nice. I also cannot speak of any of her other services as I only came in for brows. Still, I urge you to do your eyebrows a favor and take your business somewhere else :( read more

Santhi's Threading & Ayurvedic Spa - Skin Care Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

I love going to Santhi's! I've gone to the place in the mall but who wants to walk around the mall with reddish eyebrows? When I first started here a year ago I was really excited because it was a more convenient location. Santhi is super nice and always very friendly. She does a great job threading my eyebrows and trimming. Sometimes she even throws in a little eyebrow massage when she applies lotion afterwards. I also love that she allows walk-in appointments. Seriously, I never have to wait. This truly is a hidden gem. I hope you don't come so I can have her all to myself. ;) I kid. She does a really great job with threading and the service is great. Ask about her package deals. I've been doing an unlimited 4 month plan for x amount of dollars and it makes the price totally reasonable! Oh and don't forget to pick up some Indian food next door. It's tasty too! She owns both. Great lady. read more

The service is very BAD never care for customer and always talks on phone though the customer is there. they doesn't know how to do hair cut and she spoiled all my hair by cutting it very small without asking whether to cut less or more. Their prices are not same as their website prices and they ask for five star rating if we ask for discount. I never go to this place again. They spoiled my hair. I even hate to give one star but there is no option for zero stars. I don't think she is a certified beautician. I don't ever go to spoil beauty. read more

First time here just now and I can't help but feel so much regret for even attempting a new place. I specifically asked her to please only clean up my eyebrows as I was still in the process of filling them out. Apparently I wasn't clear enough, when I looked in that mirror all I could feel was anger because she threaded pretty much half of each eyebrow off. She didn't charge me because she noticed I was extremely upset which is appreciated but that won't bring back my beautiful full brows anytime soon. WILL NOT BE BACK. read more

I used to go often and due to COVID I didn't go in a while but I decided to go last week and I told her to leave them kinda of thick but it seems like she got a little too excited and threaded them very thin, even when I said twice to leave the same shape and leave them thick. Now everyday I have to spend a lot of time making them look nice because I refused to go out with my real eyebrows. Eyebrows are a fundamental part of your face and I think they should be more careful and listen to the client instead of doing what they think it's "right". She cut the ends of my eyebrows, she made them really far from each other, and they are super thin. It's not the first time this happens, this happened to my daughter a while ago, but at the time she didn't say anything. I'm not coming back there. read more

It was a great experience. It was a busy Saturday afternoon but she was quick and efficient. I had my whole face threaded and it was musical. She was strumming and picking a guitar as each hair was removed. It wasn't as bad as I though it could be and she was extremely thorough. It has lasted a whole two weeks. My only complaint is that she didn't disinfect my face prior to or after the procedure, which I thought was unusual. Santhi is a sweet lady who was hospitable and kind. A gentle spirit. She even offered cookies. read more

I got my Shirodhara (Ayurvedic treatment) done at Santhi's Spa on Jan 10, 2021 and I've had extremely pathetic experience. Shirodhara works on a person's nervous system and one of its central aims is to help reduce your stress levels. After the treatment and my dealings with the staff at Santhi's my stress levels have actually increased and I feel so agitated. This place is truly misusing the name of Ayurveda. Please, if anyone is interested in Ayurvedic services or consultation please never opt for this place. They have no knowledge of how to work around the Ayurvedic Services that they are offering and they never walk their talk. The owner (Santhi) and her daughter (Kranti) - studying Ayurveda at Maharishi International University) carried out my Shirodhara and I found them very Unprofessional, Unskilled, zero customer care, and lacked integrity. For following reasons, I rate them 1... Unprofessional: Their Shirodhara package includes 2 Ayurvedic consultations and the main Shirodhara treatment. I had my first very detailed consultations with Kranti about one and a half month ago. During my course of dealings with her she was too laid back, rarely fulfilled her promises and took too long to respond to my messages and calls. Finally, on the day of my actual treatment she didn't make the basic arrangements of setting up the room and equipment on time. Even after taking time, the room seemed disorganized and far from offering a peaceful environment for the client to experience some relaxation. In the Shirodhara room I was further surprised that it wasn't Kranti, but her mom Santhi would carry out my actual treatment of Shirodhara with whom I had not interacted at all. They didn't even have the courtesy to inform me of these details beforehand. Moreover, I was not even given any apron or change of clothes to ensure that oil doesn't spill on my clothes. Unskilled: Santhi didn't have the right skill of massaging, rather I found her hand very hard and rough. My head was actually aching the whole day after getting the treatment done. Both Santhi and Kranti were continuously talking while carrying out my massage and that brought a lot of agitation to mind. Moreover, they didn't even seem to have expertise in operating their own shirodhara apparatus as they spilled oil all over my dress during the treatment. Zero customer care: In my initial consultation, Kranti told me that I would be served a herbal tea after treatment but I wasn't given any tea. At the end of my treatment Santhi (who didn't know my Ayurvedic constitution) was advising me to have spiced water of the herbs that actually disturb my constitution. On the other hand, Kranti totally disappeared after my treatment and she was called in when Santhi couldn't answer my questions. When I asked Kranti, she also wasn't sure as to which herbal tea I should be taking and she was randomly suggesting herbs. When I told her that these herbs are not working for me so she said that she would text me the herbs and their proportion for the tea and I should drink this tea soon reaching home. She never messaged me any herbal formulation that day. In addition, she also committed that by end of the day she would message me the day and time for the 2nd Ayurvedic consultation, and to this moment I have no message from her. Lack of Integrity / Miscommunication: I chose this place for Shirodhara as it offered more affordable pricing. I was initially told that Shirodhara treatment would include two Ayurvedic consultations and the actual treatment @ USD 150. At my initial consultation they made me sign some paper work which did not include any pricing agreement and I was under impression that I am done making all the payment. However, I was surprised at the end of my Shirodhara treatment when they asked me to pay the same amount again. I told them if I had known this policy I would have never come to get this treatment from them but they had no courtesy to acknowledge their own mistake or offer any discounts. read more

I walked in and was served immediately. I had my eyebrows threaded, and she was professional and friendly. I would definitely come back here to have my eyebrows threaded. One word of caution on threading, and this is not a reflection on this place but it happens everywhere I've been, is that it is more painful than waxing because the procedure lasts longer. But I do find that my eyebrows stay cleaned up for longer when I thread versus waxing. The price with tax was $15. I would also like to try some of their other services. read more

First time I've ever tried Threading and I'm in for life! I am Puerto Rican and my sassy woman-stache is stubborn...after yesterday.....it's gone and my lip is so smooth! Santi was so incredibly sweet, she knew I was a bit nervous and assured me that everything would be fine. She was right, more than fine! My eyebrows look amazing too! Perfect for my facial structure. I'm going to try the facials next, this place is a gem! Thanks Santi for making my first Threading experience an amazing one! read more

Excellent service!!! Perfect threading place. Its really good place and the end results were great.she does really great job!!

It took my friend and I less than 10 minutes to get beautiful eyebrows. The salon is clean and very well decorated, with pretty jewelry and accessories on display for sale. The waiting area was very comfortable too, but we didn't wait more than a couple minutes there. Shanti is very friendly, and very good at eyebrow threading. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Convenient location, friendly service. I enjoyed chatting with Santhi. It was great to hear about her restaurant next door--I hope to make it out there soon. I got my eyebrows threaded, and she did an expert job. The shape is great for my face, and it was quick, easy, and relatively low-pain. Santhi definitely has the experience. read more

I absolutely love Santhi's and do not go anywhere else to get my eyebrows threaded and dyed. I've never waited longer than 5 minutes, it's very clean and the ladies are super friendly! 10/10 I would highly recommend Santhi's. read more

Good at what they do. However, I came once for eye brow cleanup and Santhi's made it too thin. Other time did face and told her to please leave hair line alone as overly trimmed my sideburns. Today an associate there who's sweet and fast however same issue with hairline. I appreciate sideburns cleaned up but not completely gone. My face looks different and I was here for cleanup not to change my features. Widows peak and hairline in a v were part of my normal hairline now I have square sideburns. No more. read more

The people here are really friendly! I got my eyebrows tinted and threaded. The service was quick and thorough, and the pricing was fair. I didn't make an appointment and just walked in, but I was helped right away. I really enjoyed my experience. This was the first time I had ever gotten my eyebrows threaded or tinted. I was a little nervous, but they did a great job and I've gotten lots of compliments already! Thank you !!! read more

Love, Love, Love Santhi! I've had my eyebrows done in the mall.. they are fast but it is so painful.. and the results are variable. Some take off too much while some take off too little. I've tried another spa along Dodge street and their technicians are SLOW and their company policies on how they treat their employees are disappointing. Santhri is amazing. I'm not sure what her trick is, but it's not as painful as other places. She is consistent in what my eyebrows look like and she is fast. She's also very friendly and even though she may be next door when I walk in, she quickly is able to come over to provide the service. If you sign up for her text messages, you occassionaly receive some discount offers. read more

Just got my eyebrows done a little bit ago and I couldn't be happier! It's been a while since I had my brows done, but she was very great and they look amazing! I was new to this place and was a bit confused of getting my eyebrows shaped in beauty salons here. Firstly, I tried in Westroad mall, I had a very bad experience, the lady made the eyebrows very thin..It was really awkward.....After a few months, I got to know some people, they suggested Santhi's....... So I thought of giving it a try. I am happy as my eyebrows look neat as she gave importance to every detail I asked for and shaped the eyebrows accordingly....Thanks to Santhi as she gave back my own look...... Also, She is friendly and professional !!!!!! I felt this is the best place if you want perfect eyebrows......I would recommend Santhi's to my friends....... read more
