I wish I could give them a 0. I went there for Botox and mid face filler maintenance. A month prior I had maintenance on my cheek from another provider which I was pleased with. During my consultation I was told the standard order of business is 2 syringes in the cheeks. So they sold me 2 syringes. Gave a great discount if I paid cash. After a month my cheeks were lump, noticeable asymmetry and I looked as if I aged 20 year, I go back thinking it could be corrected and was sold another syringe cash for the discount. A month later I contact them because my face was distorted and you could see the filler under my skin. I requested for refund and f it to be corrected. Dr. Abbott insisted that because he trained the injector it was performed correctly. Offered me to purchase another syringe and dissolve the areas that had been over filled. I opted for the dissolve. I am conflicted about this place. When I first tried them for botox, the PA was very helpful and seemed genuinely interested in answering my questions and concerns. Abd she did a good job. But that changed when I was there for second time. I didn't like this inconsistency. It left me think that they are not very interested in your business if they decide thart you are not a good candidate that would go for big services ( meaning expensive) . I kind of feel like I have to stand up for my ladies here. I'm an esthetician with advanced chemical, light, and laser education with almost 20 years of experience. That being said, I have had a lot of botox and various skin treatments performed by other (differently qualified) professionals over the years. I moved to Omaha from Los Angeles about 6 years ago and really struggled to find my new people (you know who I mean, THE hair guru, THE nail place, MY skin pro, etc). I initially was swindled out of a ridiculous amount of money and poor results by ideal images. I can't say enough BAD about my experience there or the money they legit stole from me. BUT I decided to try Omaha Med, and Lexi is my forever girl here in Omaha now. My first experience there was a bit of a mess (hold on, keep reading), and I had just popped in with a last-minute appointment, hoping to receive botox that day and check the place out. I got lost in the building because I didn't read signs and was late, meaning Lexi had another client and was booked pretty full the rest of the day. Did I mention the snowstorm outside? The front desk magical fairy was so sweet, funny, and understanding, and set me up for an appointment later that week. Okie dokie, it was my bad getting lost and not giving myself enough cushion for snow and finding a new place. So I left a little bummed but ok. However, she continued to look at the books to see if she could fit me in that day anyway. She called me and got me back in in a couple of hours! Something she absolutely didn't have to put as much effort into doing as she did. The office itself is very clean, warm, and strikes that happy balance of medical professional without feeling like a sterile doc office, and a calm spa without the Enya music and overly perfumed everything. Lexi is incredibly knowledgeable and practical in her approach, and I feel completely confident and comfortable asking questions and making my desired results clear. I also chat with her about other services offered, and never once have I felt "upselling" me into other services was her goal in talking to me. She's honest and realistic with my treatment and doesn't feed me fantasy-o's about looking 16 when I leave the service. I've worked in many spas and had many personal clients ranging from burn victim and acne sufferers to celebrities aggressively fighting aging. I've been the one selling products (I absolutely believed in and still religiously use) and suggesting new services as the sales portion of my job required. Every additional service I inquired about, like lip filler and various peels, has been met with open conversation and realistic expectations while NEVER feeling even slightly pressured. I can't begin to say how much I value and appreciate information without pressure to buy. Lexi does a beautiful job every single time, and I could not be happier. Is there really anything more important, or nerve-wracking, than our FACE?? Every person I have encountered there from the wonderful front desk staff to my botox facial fairy has been a dream. Pricing is fair and on par, but they also use an app that gives seriously good discounts, not something lame like $15 off a different service than the one I'm getting. I saved $100 yesterday. For doing nothing other than being a client. That's a legit good deal with ZERO STRINGS ATTACHED. I feel like I can proudly say I've found my place and my person. I'm incredibly impressed by, and pleased with, every aspect of my service from start to follow up. If you FOLLOW YOUR AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS and take the time to ask questions and take advantage of their knowledge and experience, you won't be disappointed. Your likelihood of scarring and complications also drops to near zero. Now I just need to find a massage place and a good chiropractor. Very disappointed in my botox results. I went in after making an appointment prompted by a special email offer. In the long run, it ended up costing much more than I have paid previously to other providers. I thought that at least I would have great results. Not at all! Why is an MD doing nothing but aesthetic spa treatments only?? I ask this question now in light of the rude way I was dismissed by this "med spa." When I expressed concerns about the treatments received and asked for a touch up, I was told to come back. Then I received a short abrupt email telling me to seek future services elsewhere. I was shocked by this short email as our face to face exchanges had been so pleasant. I guess this dr. Abbott doesn't want to provide basic customer service. You take it and accept it without questions or you will be sent away. If you care at all about getting what you paid for, do not go to Omaha Med Spa. read more

Extremely disappointed and insulted is putting it mildly. Dr Abbott is condescending, rude and admittedly cocky. I have never been so poorly treated in a doctors office or had an actual argument with a medical professional. I researched online Juvederm in my tear troughs and went to see if that would be an option for me. However, no matter how much you research, it doesn't mean you know everything about the procedure. It is the doctor's job to inform you of everything. I specifically asked him what his expectations for the filler would be to correct my hollowness and darkness under my eyes. He said the this procedure would be great for me. He even said he has turned people away because he didn't think it would be beneficial for them. He told me that "not to be cocky",but he in so many words is confident in his injecting skills. I said I wasn't going to tell anyone I was getting it done and he told me that no one would be able to tell, but that it would be a subtle difference. That is what i wanted. The same day as the procedure, I knew something didn't look right. Specifically under my left eye there was lumps of filler and blueness from what seemed to be the Juvederm being injected too much and superficially. I went back that day and he told me to wait 2 weeks to let it settle before doing anything. I waited that time and I still had the lumps. I went back again and he admitted it didn't look good and needed to use dissolver on it. I had to wait until the next week because he repeatedly told me they didn't keep the dissolver in the office because he rarely needed to use it. So I went back to get it dissolved and he did that free of charge and was nice about it. However, he stated that I must have had a bad reaction to it because he had never seen someone react that way. He also said that this specific Juvederm procedure under the eye has the least percentage of satisfaction. That would have been something I would have liked to have heard before getting it done, not after it looked bad. I waited a couple days and the dissolver corrected the issue. Then my eyes looked asymmetrical and I was told my numerous people something still didn't look right in my other eye. So, i went back again. When he came in the office, I could immediately tell he was "annoyed" by me coming back again. I told him my concerns with the other eye and he said that eyes aren't always symmetrical. Then he said I had too high of expectations for this procedure!!! He is the one who told me how great I would look and how confident he was in his injecting skills Why would I expect anything less than what he said? I realize it's not surgery and I do have issues under my eyes, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be some improvement and he should have disclosed the potential for dissatisfaction. He said he would not put disolver under my right eye because he would not take away something that was "aesthetically pleasing". He may have thought it was, but I didn't agree. Isn't the customer always right? He also said he regretted using the filler on me! Shouldn't his concern be me being unhappy and not how inconvenienced he was to deal with my concerns. Then when I asked him why he didn't tell me about the satisfaction rate before the procedure, he said that I did my own research so I should have known that. He also said that I shouldn't get any other treatments done anywhere else because I wouldn't be happy with it. If it would have looked good I would have been happy, but it didn't! Abbott also said that he and I didn't have a connection and to basically not come back there. I couldn't believe a medical professional would speak to a patient that way. It was horrific. I did nothing to be treated that way. I had a complaint. I wasn't rude until he began his negative treatment of me. He was that cocky person, he described himself to be in the beginning. Of course I was getting angry as this conversation was taking place because I couldn't believe how insulting he was. He also made sure to tell me that I would be paying for the rest of the balance. It's obvious the money was more important to him than customer satisfaction. So now I'm left with something that doesn't even look good and will have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I would never go back to him or recommend anyone to see him. I'm sure I am not the first person he has treated horribly and I'm sure I won't be the last. I think Dr Abbott should be ashamed of himself for his behavior and his unprofessionalism. Not to mention the poor outcome of this service and in the end, his unwillingness to make it right. I am in an industry of retaining clients and if I ever came close to his behavior I would never succeed. I know I have to work with clients to make any situation right, even if I don't agree. It is important to speak to a client with empathy and respect. Dr. Abbott needs to work on his bed side manner and professional skills. read more

After seeing many with unnatural results from injections, I was very nervous about having procedures done. Even though I was nervous, I still saw subtle signs of aging at 36, that I wanted to correct. I told Dr. Abbot my concerns and he told me options that were available but was very honest and told me that I did not need these procedures. Dr. Abbot took a lot of time explaining everything about the treatments and gave me a mirror to point out where they could be used and what they would do. He also told me how he would not do certain things I had asked him about because they could possibly "backfire" and make what is aesthetically pleasing, unattractive. I left his office that day not having anything done that we discussed and he was very pleasant while walking me to the front door. I decided to return to Omaha Med Spa because of the extra time, bedside manner and trust that I felt having spent time with Dr. Abbot. I started slowly with Botox and loved my results! My face didn't look unnaturally frozen or different but I looked like a younger, refreshed me. Because I loved my natural looking results, a year later and after 4-5 visits, I decided to take advantage of a great promotion Omaha Med Spa had for Voluma. I would like to mention that during those 4-5 Botox visits, Dr. Abbot never asked me if I had considered doing anything we had discussed during our first visit. I was still very nervous about looking unnatural before having Voluma but my results were once again, a refreshed and glowing me! I received several compliments from others saying I looked so vibrant and refreshed but no one asked if I had anything done. My friends and I speak very candidly to each other and if they thought I had something done, they would have asked! After such great results from Voluma , I decided to try Juvederm. I was going away to see friends I hadn't seen in some time and wanted to look my best. Once again, Dr. Abbot gave me beautiful and natural results that took away the small signs of aging that I was experiencing. I love Omaha Med Spa! The office and treatment rooms are obviously meticulously cleaned, well decorated and comfortable. I am always greeted with a smile and offered my choice of cold or room temperature bottled water.
