Second, they recommended the spray your way tan and it legitimately didn't add any color. I was dry when walking out of the studio. My boyfriend even asked if I was sure that I tanned. Come on, if a man is questioning that, it's a problem. Listen I am willing to pay money for a service if it is provided. I asked if they would let me re-do and courtesy tan and they wouldn't budge saying "they couldn't". Same thing when I was a few days late to my package expiring. I have been going to palm beach for over a decade. They could have. Additionally, they usually have a spray tan machine that's always down. I'm shocked at the reviews I've read so far. I've never sprayed before so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I should add that I'm a super white, pale blond chick. When you walk in, the gal running the desk and greeting you is your spray-er lady. It's as comfortable as you would imagine having someone spray every inch of your body while you're naked. The spray is kind of cold so they put a little heater in the room to keep you warm. When the spray goes on it looks good, but streaky, but that's no problem you just gently towel off the excess and it doesn't really effect the overall tan. In a good solid ten minutes you are done and ogling you're newly bronzed skin. I honestly couldn't believe how good it looked and how much better it made me look. This must be why everyone tans all the time! The day after your spray is the best. The tan is even and beautiful. You're feeling pretty awesome and very tan. People are looking at you and smiling back because you've got this giant smile on your face because you're so tan that your teeth look super while and your hair looks better and blonder! You're feeling skinny. How darker skin makes you feel and look skinny is beyond me. Science, you should look into this. Anyways, you're feeling skinny, you're smiling, you're blond and happy strutting around town with your new tan with the wind at your back and the world at your fingertips. You can do anything with this tan. The next day you're feeling a little less tan but you're still feeling pretty good. You're still smiling and your hair is still blond and teeth white and you're still looking for the perfect outfit to highlight your beautiful glowing tan and your newly sculpted muscles. The third day you're still feeling that "tan high" that you had when you were first sprayed but it's seriously starting to diminish and you're starting to settle into "post-tanning-depression" You are kind of craving more spray. More tan. You're wondering if you can spray again to keep up with it but then decide it's too expensive and resort to at-home remedies. The fourth day you're rubbing self tanner all over yourself. Your knees look about five shades darker than the rest of your body. You are happy with the way it is fading in that it doesn't look too ridiculous but you're craving more tan and you're starting to feel like a tan-addict. The fifth day you're not really smiling anymore but reminiscing about your tan and those times you were feeling so fit and thin and pretty. You're looking at old pictures and wondering if you'll ever be that tan again. The sixth day you're in the shower scrubbing your knees and elbow creases. You're not so worried about your tan anymore as you're more bothered by the fattier whiter droopy body you've recently acquired. The seventh day you're back to your old self and write a yelp review. It was quite the experience. I really liked how it looked but it is really expensive for how long it lasts. Maybe if they offered some sort of mid-week touch up with the $30 +tip that you pay I would spray on a more regular basis. Maybe a photo shoot while you're tan happy pretty and thin to remember it all by would sweeten the deal.

Pros of this spot are the 24/7 access if you purchase a fob--this would be amazing as no other company allows 24/7 access! It is also on a points system, so you can pay different amounts based on how much you want to tan and what beds you use. I also like that there are cleaning stations in every room for when you come after yours--during staffed hours they clean the beds and give you a cool towel which smelled great. The biggest con to me is the countless sales they pitch every time you come in. I counted 3-4 different upgrades/products pitched to me each of my first 3 visits, but was lucky enough to come in between customers on a busy day on my last visit so this was not an issue. They are not overly pushy, but definitely take a lot more of everyone's time upselling than is comfortable. The other big con for this bed is that if you lay as you are supposed to with your face under the face lamp, your shoulders are not getting light! The picture here shows what I'm talking about--it just doesn't make sense why a bed would be made this way. I believe it must be pretty dated for that reason, but I did develop color in 3-4 sessions. All in all this was well worth the $13. If they had a great deal on a membership I would consider buying one, but would make it a point to go only after staffed hours to avoid all the many sales pitches.
