After the eventual wash, he left me to style my own hair while he went and talked to another guest right beside me. While writing this review he looks at my phone and comments. This is crazy, and what I was left with was nothing even remotely close to what I had asked for in the picture. Which once again, another factor of him refusing to give a yes or no. The only thing we were clear on in the end is that the cut and style were sub-par, and that I did NOT want to pay.

I admired her work and service so I tried to book an appointment for a toner in advance. I follow her Instagram page and she posts open dates with times and you would Google text your name plus choice. After multiple attempts and no response, I left a voicemail at the front office. She messaged back saying she was unable to receive my Google texts because it was down. So she arranged appt, and she cancels it one hour before the time. Ok life happens, so I was understandable, and she said she would reach out to me to reschedule. After countless Google texts, texts to her phone and Instagram, she doesn't respond ever. So I gave up now. This is so unprofessional. Pretty sad because I'm Vietnamese and wanted to support another. The salon is clean and nice, but Brandy doesn't respond. Why even bother scheduling appointments and canceling or lie. Just say respond no or something. She posts daily on instagram with open slots and stories so everything seems fine and dandy. This salon was the first one that popped up that was close to where I live. My hair had been shedding/falling out severely for about 2 months an getting it cut short was a must! I will say the photo I showed LaTonia as to how I wanted my hair cut wasn't what was done however, she did let me know the reason as to why she was cutting my hair how she did an its phenomenal! My hair was extremely flaky an dry on my first visit an LaTonia treated it an gave me some take home tips in getting my Scalp nourished again. It's working! I have had 3 appointments with LaTonia an each time I leave satisfied! She's also never canceled on me last minute or left the salon while I'm under the dryer. There's no loud talking or solicitors. The salon is in tip top shape! There's a black wall with the most uplifting quotes/sayings, every visit I'm offered water an coffee without question! An not just any coffee! I'm talking coffee served in a Mason glass, biodegradable straw, an whipped CREAM!! The ladies that work here are always thoroughly cleaning an sanitizing between clients as well an taking temperature checks upon arrival. The bathroom is great too I have to say with books, a full length mirror, candle lit, lotion, an also more inspiring quotes! The music is great too AND there is even a place to charge your phone while your under the dryer. LaTonias' prices are quite high in comparison to other salons BUT, its definitely worth it!
