    What I was emailed, nothing about a grace period and nothing about a "messaging system" in order for me to get ahold of the salon.

    I had an appointment with DEISY today at 2:30. It is raining and has been all day and the roads are flooded and there were at least 4 accidents on the expressway as I made my way over to Pixie Glam. I called the salon at 1:45, just 15 minutes shy of an hour before my appointment to let them know I was going to be late -- no answer. I did leave a voicemail though and continued to try to get ahold of Deisy. I called a total of EIGHT times and did not receive an answer at all. I checked my emails to see if there was anything about a grace period and there was nothing listed. I would also like to point out I am driving from PLANO to ARLINGTON. That is already a drive in itself and I definitely planned ahead. At 2:46, I am about to get off the expressway and pull up to the salon, and I receive an email stating I missed my appointment and it was cancelled. I was then charged $60 for the less than 48 hr cancellation fee yet, my service was cancelled by DEISY not by me. I still went into the salon, in hopes of still being able to receive my haircut and asked to speak with Deisy. She comes out and was friendly, I will give her that, but I was extremely disappointed with the outcome. I explained to her that I had tried to get ahold of her and she immediately said "yeah, but that was after the 15 minutes..." I showed her my call log that shows the EIGHT times I called and she then made the excuse that she "might have been with a client." She stated there was also a messaging system I could have used but looking back at emails, there is nothing that states that as a way of contacting the salon. She was going around in circles with me trying to justify her canceling my appointment and saying I still needed to reschedule. She then says she has a client coming in at 3 otherwise shed still cut my hair. My appointment was scheduled as a curly cut wash n go from 2:30pm to 5pm. I questioned how she had somebody at 3 when that's just 1/2 hour into my appointment. She stated I would have been deep conditioned by then which is absolutely ridiculous. I am a new customer, had the weather been optimal, I would have been there at 2:30 and it would have taken at least 15 minutes to have a conversation on what I needed done to my hair -- AND thats IF daisy even started on time with me because I see from a review 3 months ago, Deisy started a half hour late with that woman. There is absolutely NO WAY I would be cut, washed, AND deep conditioned in just the 15 minutes remaining until her 3pm showed up. She can manage two clients at once within 15 minutes but can't answer her business phone? I am not from here, I am a nurse that traveled to Texas for an assignment and it is definitely hard to find time for myself and I drove an hour away from where I am staying just to get this cut to treat myself. Mind you, this is already pricey to begin with. $150 for a cut wash and diffuse? By all means Deisy your work looks amazing and as a home baker on the side, I understand knowing your worth and charging based off that. Get it girl but I was going to pay the $150 + 20% tip Putting that at $180 AND paying extra for being 20 minutes late. But nothing was done to help me out. Had she answered the phone something could have been figured out. She kept telling me "thats just business" and as a business owner as well, I understand that wholeheartedly but in addition, we work with our customers to figure something out, at least I do. Unfortunately I wasted 2 hours of my time driving to and from Arlington and no haircut. All for her to also throw in my face that she has other clients from Dallas who come to her and still make it on time. I planned accordingly, I am not an inconsiderate person and I made sure I left with enough time but the roads flooding and people getting into accidents is NOT in my control and I believe had she really cared about her customers satisfaction, she would have worked something out with me. She offered to reschedule with me right then and there on a day "that's not raining" i told her I had this scheduled almost a month in advance and there is no way I could have predicted the weather. Nurse/Baker, remember not meteorologist. I was looking forward to this appointment so much because back home it was so hard to find a good curly stylist so you can imagine how upset I was with this interaction. Despite being offered to reschedule, I will never schedule with Deisy because this just left a bad taste in my mouth. As a business owner, if you are going to charge a fee, you should have policies posted. The cancellation/rescheduling in less than 48 hours IS posted however, it is NOT posted that there is a 15 minute grace period for being late and if after that you will be cancelled AND charged. Very unprofessional.

    I just wanna say that I loveeee this place! Erika was my hairstylist and she did such an amazing job! I came in with my hair looking like a total wreck and I left with something soo pretty and nice looking. All the workers are so friendly, such a badass atmosphere to be in . I'll be coming back for my future needs. So glad I found them!

    I wanted a brown balayage and this is what I got

    I don't recommend this place. I found them on IG and went to one of the hairstylist there asking for a brown balayage. My hair looked more like highlights and not even the tone I wanted. I had to go to someone else to get it fixed. Did not feel comfortable walking around with my hair looking the way it did. There prices are way too high for the work they do.

    I am IN LOVE with this place! The stylists are all so incredibly talented and genuinely kind hearted. The salon is beautiful and the owner goes out of her way to make sure the client's experience is priority. I am so glad I found this place and Deisy. She listens to me and she educates me on my hair. I am never disappointed. Worth the drive and the money!!

    Went into the store and did not enjoy my experience. The staff did not seem interested in helping…read moreme and were stand offish. It wouldn't have killed any of the three associates to smile, but I guess that's asking too much. I mentioned one color and once she grab it she went to the counter. The M in MAC could stand for mean because that's definitely what it gave. Well I will not be back. No suggestions or recommendations when I mentioned another color. Then I asked about the lipstick event they were having and the prizes and she was like no. Then I mentioned how there was suppose to be gifts if you spent over a certain amount and she said " Oh yeah well, they ran out of gifts." Hmm okay well I don't think it would have hurt to throw in a sample since the gifts were out but idk.

    I walked up to the store and I saw about four associates just standing there talking to each other…read moreand kind of glancing over at me, but not really. I was not greeted, wasn't told any new make up releases nothing. I helped myself to the new lipsticks and was looking at them. Probably would've been interested if an associate tried to actually sell one to me, but nobody acknowledged my existence in there. Stayed far away from me as possible, and I went ahead and just left the store. Probably the worst location I have ever been to. I buy Mac consistently at other stores and I was in the area. However, this is my last time going to this location as it seems like the associates that work there, are avoiding customers and have their own stuck up problems.

    These are the kind of pushy people at the mall who force a sale on you. I caved in the first time I…read morecame in and bought $75 face powder (I normally buy $25 powder so this was a push). They also didn't hesitate to tell me "how much I really needed coverage to cover up my bad skin" and suggested the BB cream. I didn't buy it then, but came back a second time months later to buy it. When I came in the second time the sales guy grabbed a BB cream for me without testing to see which color would match. I thought that was odd but trusted his professional opinion. While I was there he didn't hesitate to push the microdermabrasion skin care line on me. He tested the products on one of my arms to compare it to the other, and called me dirty because of the difference. I said no thank you but was upset with me after because I didn't buy it. I then had to come in a THIRD time because the BB cream did not match the powder I bought. The lady who helped me this time told me the powder I bought the first time was the wrong color and the BB cream "would only make my skin in bad condition worse". She grabbed another powder for me that was 3 SHADES darker! She started off as friendly, but while I was at the register finishing up with her I said "no thank you" to $160 worth of products she pushed. She then had a pissed look at her face and became rude. All while I'm witnessing the same sales guy who helped me previously be in a customer's face to push a sale and I can hear the lady say "I know, but" over and over because he's interrupting constantly. Every time I've come in I get told something completely different and have been given the wrong color. Now that I'm in the car in natural sunlight this THIRD color is still the wrong color but I refuse to go back in!! I've bought makeup worth half the price with the nicest people ever at other places. If this is a representation on how the employees here are trained to sell I am spreading the word NOT to come here.
