I've scoured Google and Yelp for a few days and decided that I absolutely wanted to go with him because he had all good reviews, shows his cuts and styles on Instagram, and is booked for months out. Because of this, it's best to schedule a haircut online with him -- you'll be able to find last-minute openings. John is patient, knowledgeable, and kind. He's there to give you a haircut, but he's also there to spread some knowledge. He showed me how he was cutting my hair and why he was doing it. His consultation was also very helpful, especially because I didn't know anything about hair and how to style it. I wanted to change the way my hair looked in both style and color, and John was there to give feedback and what he thought was in my best interest. I felt like he should have charged for his consultation because he spent a GOOD amount of time providing advice and feedback, time that's worth money, especially when I was his last client for the day and it was getting late. Because he didn't charge extra for consultation, I provided a good tip. What I wish beforehand, which isn't really John's fault, is how to enter the building. It was late, so the door was locked -- luckily, there was someone who let me in. If you ever encounter this situation, just text John and he'll come open the door for you! Overall, I believe I am a permanent client of John's. My husband loves my hair and believes that John did a really good job, especially for the price you're paying. I highly recommend John!

Now I have gotten mink eyelash extensions before from somewhere else and I loved them! However, after this appointment I'm pretty sure I'm never going to get eyelash extensions ever again. I ended up booking an appointment with Cheyenne (I'm guessing I mixed her up with Christina who I saw good reviews for), which I am guessing she's somewhat new at doing eyelashes, because she seemed to have a hard time doing mine. I ended up getting glue in my eyes, which burned and turned my eyes red (did not happen the first time I got eyelash extensions). When I asked her if the redness and burning would go away she said yes. Well the burning went away, but the redness got worse. Since the redness kept getting worse I ended going to my optometrist who said I had chemical conjunctivitis and had to prescribe me steriod eyedrops. I am having to wear glasses until the redness subsides. She also got glue in my hair and said it would wash out. Well that didn't happen either and I had to cut it. Also by what I saw online at the pictures of my eyelashes that were posted I didn't even get mink eyelashes, but synthetic ones.
