Madison at BB 63 is a life saver!…read more I had recently decided to try a new salon (since my regular gal got crazy busy over at Lemongrass), so I went to a one-man salon on Magnolia, because he had great reviews! Unfortunately, although the guy was incredibly sweet, I asked him to give me a natural blonde balayage (that would fade well since I can't afford to go every month) and I got super chunky, brassy orange highlights. It looked like I had let my hair grow out for months, even thought I had just left the salon and paid nearly $175 (that included a hair cut as well, which he actually did really well so I can't complain about that). I was going to ask him to fix it, but he kept gushing over how "incredible it was" and how much he loved it, so I felt it would have been really awkward for me to say how much I hated it. So, immediately after I left, I frantically called around to other salons seeing if they could fit me in so late in the day, and most said no. Then I called BB 63, and Madison answered and told me to come in as soon as I could. Long story short, she took what looked like 3 months of new growth with chunky highlights and turned it into EXACTLY what I wanted. Needless to say, she now has a customer for life!

I needed a real salon and a beautician! Scalp massages and sink chairs! I yelped salons in Ft. Worth near me and bb63 has good reviews. It's also pretty close to me house. I check the website and low and behold! Magic! I can get little resumes AND book online for each of the stylists. Fancy. I chose Reya as my beautician as she mentioned she has experience with fine hair. It was like the hair heavens opened up and spoke to me. She was also available evenings! Even better, when I called Reya the day of she could take me earlier than we originally scheduled. My hair looks about 100 times more healthy now that she has cut it. She shaped it, trimmed it but took into account my desire to keep length, gave me a glass of wine, chatted with me, and ensured that I will be a repeat customer. Oh and it was a really good price. Go see her! This review by the way was not "paid for" by the small 15% discount you get if you Yelp for the record. I enjoyed it with the discount but I'll keep coming back even without it.

Megan has done many cuts and colors and every time I've shown hey a picture of what I want, the results are even better than the pic! Today I was getting my hair done and noticed they'd added a nail tech. I needed to get my nails done but was skeptical because I'm very picky. Megan recommended I try him out and ALAN was exceptional!!! He does a lot of powder dip but I just wanted a polish manicure and he was incredible. I chose a gorgeous polish for New Year's and he showed me this amazing thing called the cat eye effect (apparently this is getting popular but I had never heard of it) and it's gorgeous. I am obsessed!

The dead center of it has a chunk of hair that is an inch shorter than the rest. She didn't know what she was doing clearly. My right side is a straight across bang and my left side is blended with the face framing layer. She kept saying blowout effect when that isn't what I wanted or asked for. Everywhere I've been, they've always started off longer because they said we can always chop off more. She did not do that. She just chopped them. I wanted very wispy bangs with face framing layers. She didn't not do that at all. These are regular choppy uneven bangs that sit a good bit above my eyebrows! I never felt more ridiculous coming out of the salon. During she asked what I thought and I said that the layers isn't what I want and that I want more layers in sections. She just did one side and didn't do the same on the other. She asked what I thought on the bangs and I said they're too thick and she turned my chair around fast so I'm not facing the mirror anymore. She said she still has to thin out. But they shouldn't even look this thick before thinning! I'm wearing a hat for a couple of weeks and going to my sister hoping she can fix some of it. How she cut my hair was like she watched one video and she learned at home. Her fingers stunk like a funky smell. Not food or chemicals but like bacteria under the nails type of smell.
