Madison at BB 63 is a life saver! I had recently decided to try a new salon (since my regular gal got crazy busy over at Lemongrass), so I went to a one-man salon on Magnolia, because he had great reviews! Unfortunately, although the guy was incredibly sweet, I asked him to give me a natural blonde balayage (that would fade well since I can't afford to go every month) and I got super chunky, brassy orange highlights. It looked like I had let my hair grow out for months, even thought I had just left the salon and paid nearly $175 (that included a hair cut as well, which he actually did really well so I can't complain about that). I was going to ask him to fix it, but he kept gushing over how "incredible it was" and how much he loved it, so I felt it would have been really awkward for me to say how much I hated it. So, immediately after I left, I frantically called around to other salons seeing if they could fit me in so late in the day, and most said no. Then I called BB 63, and Madison answered and told me to come in as soon as I could. Long story short, she took what looked like 3 months of new growth with chunky highlights and turned it into EXACTLY what I wanted. Needless to say, she now has a customer for life! read more

BB 63 Salon - Before and after! So perfect! - Hair Salons Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

After having my hair done for years, 3 to be exact, by a friend in my own home (who had done a wonderful job no less), I decided it was time to grow up. I needed a real salon and a beautician! Scalp massages and sink chairs! I yelped salons in Ft. Worth near me and bb63 has good reviews. It's also pretty close to me house. I check the website and low and behold! Magic! I can get little resumes AND book online for each of the stylists. Fancy. I chose Reya as my beautician as she mentioned she has experience with fine hair. It was like the hair heavens opened up and spoke to me. She was also available evenings! Even better, when I called Reya the day of she could take me earlier than we originally scheduled. My hair looks about 100 times more healthy now that she has cut it. She shaped it, trimmed it but took into account my desire to keep length, gave me a glass of wine, chatted with me, and ensured that I will be a repeat customer. Oh and it was a really good price. Go see her! This review by the way was not "paid for" by the small 15% discount you get if you Yelp for the record. I enjoyed it with the discount but I'll keep coming back even without it. read more

BB 63 Salon - I don't have a before but just know my hair looks AMAZINGLY healthy now where it looked stringy and flat a bit ago. Thanks Reya! - Hair Salons Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

BB 63 has several different stylists in a small shop on bluebonnet circle. Making the appointment was relatively easy but I had to make an account online. Who needs more accounts? Not me. I received a text reminder for the appointment. Parking is somewhat limited. If the parking spots are taken, you would just have to park a little further down the road, which isn't so bad. Once I entered, I waited a couple of minutes before my stylist Tiffany met me. I usually don't have specifics in mind when I go for a haircut besides keeping my bangs because I want to trust their expertise. Tiffany seemed boggled by me not having a specific direction. I think because of this, she gave me a very mediocre haircut. There wasn't any flair to it. She also didn't ask me how I wanted my hair styled. Overall she didn't seem very personable or confident in her skills. In the end, I felt that I overpaid for a very basic haircut. Another con was receiving text reminders for appointments I never made several months after the original appointment. I called to let them know, but I continued receiving the texts. FYI This seems to be more of a color salon. P.s. this review was long overdue and the stylist that I had no longer works there so I might try again read more

This was my second time to the salon but my first time with Natalie. I am SO happy with how my hair turned out. She gave a thorough and professional consultation and made sure she understood what I was looking for, which was a balayage sun kissed look. Natalie nailed it! I will definitely be back. read more

I like this salon and LOVE my hairstylist, Leah Verreault! Seriously, before her, I wasn't a ride or die client. I floated around the DFW area anytime I needed a cut or a color and tried whatever place popped up on Groupon or a Yelp search. One day, I posted a plea on Facebook because I wanted to do something drastic...get bangs! A friend suggested Leah and I've never looked back since. I've followed her from her previous salon to BB 63. She's done colors, cuts, styles, curls, eyebrow waxes, and even makeup for me and she always does an amazing job. I get compliments from strangers every time I leave her and for weeks afterward. She's so great about working with me and helping me determine what will look best. There's been a couple of occasions where I've gone in with magazine pictures of colors and she's been honest with me and told me that probably wouldn't work on my hair, but she always has an alternative that I love just as much! The picture I posted was after she cut almost 8 inches off my hair and gave me the cutest bob ever! Knowing I was nervous cutting that much off, she kept me entertained and explained everything she was doing along the way. Simply put - she's the best! I've been going to Leah for several years now and would follow her to the ends of the Earth if necessary! I'm lucky to not only have her as a hairstylist, but to be able to call her a friend, too. If you're looking for a great stylist, give her a call! read more

Always accommodating, and wonderful service. Laid back atmosphere. I love the staff and everything about this place. I went from using an Aveda salon to BB 63 and couldn't be happier. My stylist, Amanda Shipley, is incredible and super talented. I will never leave! Remember the down home feeling of everyone knowing you when you went to the hair salon with your grandma when you were little- well that's the same vibe here. I would go every week (and sometimes do) if I had time just to get a wash, style and girl time. I'm so very happy I found BB 63! read more

Want your hair cut right? AMANDA at BB63 is the BOMB! I want to make sure Amanda gets all the KUDOS before I tell you how I ended up at BB63. Amanda is absolutely fantastic at cutting hair. My very thin, straight hair is not always the easiest to cut & style. I felt at ease immediately because Amanda is friendly, professional & she listened to what I wanted. She didn't rush to get my hair done. She took the time to cut my hair perfectly & the way I wanted it. She also sends out reminder emails that it's about time for me to get a trim/cut. Unfortunately, I don't get my hair cut as often as I should, but that's not because of her. So, if you want a fabulous hair cut, make an appointment with Amanda. Now, here's how I found BB63 & Amanda.... I moved to Fort Worth 09/2012 & had no idea where to go get my hair cut. I didn't have friends or family here so I would randomly ask people if they knew a good stylist. So, I went to this "high end" salon that was recommended. I was absolutely horrified. It's not so much that I could have gotten a better hair cut at a "chain-like" salon at a fraction of the cost. It was the fact that nothing was clean & I was the first client of the day. The hairbrushes had tons of hair on them. The stylist dropped a comb on the floor, picked it up and continued to use it. There was hair on the floor. I could go on and on. I couldn't get out of that place quick enough. When I went back to AZ to visit family, I found out my stylist for 30+ years in Arizona recently retired & the new person that was recommended did not compare. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed. The hair cut was at least an upgrade to what I had my first time in Texas. Back in Texas, I went to one of the well-known "name brand" salon in the US. At least everything was clean. Yet, once again, the haircut was barely better than the cheap chain stores. I was looking through a "Yellow Pages" app. I started checking the reviews on Yelp and came across BB63. Not only were the reviews good, they were open on Sunday! So, I decided to head on over without getting my hopes up after my last three disastrous hair cuts. Needless to say, I've found my stylist in Fort Worth and I'll be devastated if Amanda leaves. read more

Just got a haircut from Katy and it's awesome! She listened to what I wanted, and gave me exactly what I asked for, but better! I just found my new stylist, and will definitely be back to see her. Not only did I love what she did to my hair, but also her laid back friendly attitude. The salon itself is small, but cute and clean. If you are looking for a new place to get your hair done, I would highly recommend this place, and Katy! read more

This was my first time coming to get my hair done by Cozzette. I have known Cozzette since we were kids...I knew when I arrived she is fulfilling her purpose in life...to make you look hot!!!!!! The salon is super cute...very eceltic. It has a very intimate feel. I was one of the first people there in the morning. I decided to go ombre...and it turned out great. It was the gradual dark to light...the way it should be...not the it looks like you dipped my tips into bleach look that I have been seeing around town. I drive all the way from North Dallas....so if that gives you any indication...make an appointment today!! Cozzette is the only person who can do my hair the way I have envisioned it. She is very personable....and you will be instant friends with her once you leave the salon. Cozzette also has another location in the emerging Trinity River project that just opened. read more

Found this place on Yelp and called to schedule an appointment that day. Tiffany was kind enough to stay an extra hour or so to take me in. I had very long hair and wanted something short but still complementing my round face. Tiffany had a good sense of current hair trends and made great suggestions on what would go well with my face frame. I also share with her what style I was looking for. She put the two together, and voila! LOVE my new 'do!! read more

BB 63 Salon - From long hair to shoulder length! Love it!! BB63 Stylist: Tiffany Meyka - Hair Salons Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

I had the most wonderful experience with Leah at BB63. The salon is adorable. It's a small, retro vibe, chicks that look way cooler than you and me, but are so, so nice. This is a lovely, but not pretentious salon. I really like that you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. And with my level of anxiety, this is saying a lot. And Leah, oh my gosh, I can't say enough nice things about her. She's friendly, professional, but not at all stuffy, and she did such a fantastic job on my hair. I moved a year ago and have neglected and impulsively chopped away at the ends of my hair throughout this last year. You would never know it now. Finally, I can stop curling my hair to hide all of the butchering I've done to it. I'm so grateful. She really paid attention to what I wanted and did it perfectly. You know how your hair never ever ever.... ever... looks like the picture you show them?! Not this time; she nailed it! This is a first for me. You can really tell that she knows what she's doing. She made it look so effortless, while we just chatted away. She took her time and just made it perfect. If you're not convinced now, no one can help you, lol Additionally, you can book services online. It requires a super quick sign up so you can log in, but it doesn't require much info at all. It's cool though. You'll get email confirmations/reminders and text reminders if you want them. Plus, you can keep up with past services, future appointments. It's really a neat little service. Of course, you don't have to use it, but I like anything I can do online. Anyway, very cool place, cool people who know what they're doing and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend. read more

After a horrible experience with a consultation at another salon that left me feeling degraded and less than a human being I turned to my trusty YELPERS and found BB63 Salon. After reading about the salon and each stylist bio I decided to book a hair cut & brow wax with Shay and what a find best decision ever! Shay makes you feel comfortable from the start, let's face it if it's a BAD hair day..it's a BAD day so a great cut is important. First off she listened, then offered her suggestions. When discussing what we wanted to do I jokingly mentioned "purple" highlights (my hair is totally grey) her response..WHY not you would look amazing, know what she was RIGHT! I would highly recommend this salon and Shay to anyone feeling like the Ugly duckling desperately seeking their inner SWAN read more

Booked an appointment with Madison for an a line cut and she totally nailed it! Didn't even have to use a reference pic, she completely understood what I wanted. I just got back from a long trip abroad and was looking to refresh my hair a bit before heading back to school. I don't live in the Fort Worth area for the majority of the year, so I resorted to checking online reviews to see which salon I should pick. I'm so glad I landed on BB 63!! My stylist was Natalie and she did a lovely balayage and a slight trim. I am so in love with my new beautifully blonder, healthy-looking locks. The shop is clean but has character and the staff is kind and inviting. Although I'm only in the area to see my parents, any time I come back to visit, I will be sure to schedule with the wonderful Natalie at this salon! read more

Natalie is awesome! I just moved to the area and was looking for a stylist, which is always stressful because you never know what you'll get until it's too late! I found this salon on Yelp and decided to give Natalie a try, and I am so glad I did! I came in with no idea of what I wanted done and was so glad she was game for that! It was nice to find someone who was creative and comfortable working that way. She came up with a plan and explained it all to me (and made sure I was comfortable with it) before any cutting. She gave me a great cut and styled it beautifully. Plus, she was incredibly sweet and fun to chat with. She's seriously everything I was looking for in a stylist! Oh and she does a great brow wax too! Natalie is hands down the best stylist I've ever had, and it's such a relief to know I found someone like her. I'll definitely recommend her to everyone! read more

Really excited to find a spot in my new neighborhood! Cozzette is awesome...can't wait to come back!

When it was time to get a haircut, I didn't know where to go. My friends and family would recommend me a place but I always ended having a bad experience. I started researching for hair salons and this salon caught my eye. I saw the good reviews on Yelp and Google and decided to give this place a try especially when they give $25 off for new clients. Terrinda Kay did an amazing job to my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she cut and styled my hair exactly how it looked on the picture. Due to having so much hair, she even gave it a special cut where my hair felt so much lighter! I would def be back! read more

I just recently moved to Fort Worth and was in desperate need for a trim. I used Yelp to find this salon. Katy was awesome! Sammie did a great job on my hair! I wanted a new, shorter style and she did something super flattering for my face shape. Love it! Definitely coming back. read more

I felt very rushed as she had a friend waiting for me to finish so she could do her hair, and my appointment lasted 20 minutes to wash, cut, layer, dry and curl. She didn't show me the back, hand me a mirror or anything - so I could tell before it was curled and I was sent off. As I got home, I had to shower as I had shampoo/conditioner still in my hair :( updated: as I spent time styling, I realized that this haircut was the worst I've ever had- it's all random lengths (and not in a cute, trendy way) and I've spent more time cutting off the inconsistencies - that I should have just cut it myself! read more

Shay is amazing! She's really easy to chat with and does a great job. She's the first stylist ever to offer to curl my hair when she was done. Wonderful! Also, booking an appointment online was very convenient and the system sends you appointment reminders. I definitely recommend! read more

I could not be happier with the cut and full highlights I got from Sammie - she was friendly, quick, and perfectly replicated the photo I brought in to show her what I wanted. The salon's atmosphere is fun and laid back, and Sammie's prices are great - I will be back for sure! read more

Horrible salon! Madison did my hair I asked for ombré I got orange brassy hair! Even I know ombré starts further down from the root this "licensed stylist" version of an ombré is half an inch from my root! I went back to talk to the salon owner she wasn't available instead I spoke with the shop manager and she contradicted everything that came out her mouth instead made me feel like it was my fault! Never apologize for my hair looking the way it did instead she told me it looks good!!! REALLy??? She back up her stylist instead of trying to make things right with the customer! Incase she doesn't know the customer is her advertisement her billboard the word of mouth that sends customers to the shop to make $$ instead im writing a negative review! I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here I was screwed out of 100+ dollars! read more

They were super accommodating, and managed to squeeze me in at the end of the day, even though I called last minute. I had my hair done by Katy, who is super cool and nice! i never write reviews (this is actually my first one ever), but deja was so good that i just have to let everyone know. i had gone to another salon and the results were not what i wanted. that combined with my crazy schedule left my hair a dry, frizzy, unkempt, brassy highlighted mess. i walked in feeling so gross. but deja had this incredible intuition about what i wanted. she gave me an amazing color that i LOVE and an easygoing cut that is perfect for my lifestyle. plus she had the warmest personality and we had a great time talking. definitely found my go to salon for when i'm in the area. read more

I chose this salon as a new client because of the reviews on Yelp. I was extremely disappointed. I had the stylist named Sammie. I am brunette and asked for a few face framing highlights to cover some grey hair. She placed about 50! And left them in for about 1:30 while she worked on another client. Several foils slipped and I was left with literal stripes of bleached hair. I was SHOCKED when I looked in the mirror and saw how blonde it was. The scalp massage was the most painful over ever experienced and when she added toner to my hair I was literally left with my head hanging over the shampoo bowl for half an hour. My neck was getting pretty stiff! I have long hair and asked for a trim to clean up the dead ends. She didn't cut any of the ends but instead added a few uneven layers to the back. Then she began to style it. She literally used her scissors to make 3-4 cuts and was done. I also brought my 5 year old daughter for a cut and asked her to trim off several inches. The back of her hair has no shape at all and is completely in even. It looks like my daughter cut her hair herself with her scissors from school. The entire time too 3 hours. It was miserable. I will never ever use this salon again. read more
