After the eventual wash, he left me to style my own hair while he went and talked to another guest right beside me. While writing this review he looks at my phone and comments. This is crazy, and what I was left with was nothing even remotely close to what I had asked for in the picture. Which once again, another factor of him refusing to give a yes or no. The only thing we were clear on in the end is that the cut and style were sub-par, and that I did NOT want to pay.

Can you imagine my surprise when I opened my eyes and the excess hair was gone, my hair had movement, and it was so stinking cute!!!! the best part is the haircut was 25 bucks!!!! They have a loyalty rewards program so you get a stamp everytime you go and then a free cut. I have found my diamond in the rough, yen is my new bff and I will continue to see her. I recently visited Kelly's haircut for a men's haircut, attracted by the low prices and the convenience of it being close to my house, as I used to go to a place in Carrollton. This was my first time at Kelly's haircut, and I decided to bring my younger brother along for his haircut as well, after seeing some positive reviews. The lady attending to us was friendly and amiable, and the wait time was relatively short, which was a plus. I showed her a picture of the hairstyle I wanted, and she seemed confident in understanding my expectations, which made me feel at ease. However, my excitement turned into disappointment when I put my glasses back on after the haircut. The end result was completely different from what I had envisioned. She had trimmed one side too much, leaving an awkward and unsightly appearance, and to my surprise, a small patch of hair was missing, making it look strange. I paid and waited for my brother to finish, but unfortunately, he felt the same dissatisfaction with his haircut. His hair was cut too straight, and both sides were asymmetrical, which left him feeling unhappy as well. We left Kelly's with a bad feeling, and despite the low prices and good customer service, we're not sure if we'd be returning for another visit. read more

I love this place! I have been going here for a few years now and they have always done a fantastic job! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Also, the haircuts are top notch. I was talking with the manager and recently about how they find people to hire. She says it's difficult to find new stylists because she has a very high bar and And high standard for what kind of employees she hires. This is noticed because they all give great haircuts! I go here for guy haircuts, but I know a friend of mine who goes regularly for ladies haircuts and she also gets specialized coloring done. She is a very happy customer. I have gotten all my haircuts from SuperCuts in grand prairie, but after rude customer service over the phone, I decided to look else where for my haircuts. I saw Kelly's Haircuts with 4.5 stars and said why not just try it. I walked in and was instantly greeted, and asked to sit down in the barber chair, the lady that helped me, Helen, was super kind and professional. I showed her a re photo of what I wanted and she said "okay I can do!" about 20-25 minutes later the cut was finished and it looked GREAT, I'm so glad I took the chance on this small business and will for sure be coming back when my hair gets too long again! Needed a good haircut...starting new job soon. I called mid-morning...booked appt. for same afternoon. Nancy welcomed me and said she would be my stylist. Nancy is absolutely BEST in Class. We looked at pictures (mid.length, multi.layers), etc. She cut my hair EXACTLY like the picture. After shampoo, cut, BD - she did 4 Quality Assurance reviews-shears in hand-making sure every layer was symetrical and feathered/blended to perfection. Highly recommend Kelly's. Came here on a whim and I'm happy I stopped in! I got a basic cut + long layers. I had balyage done over a year ago and no longer like how it looks, so I had my stylist Sarah, take as much off as possible. Sara was lovely to chat with and was so thoughtful with making sure I was okay with the cut. She frequently asked for my feedback/approval. By the end, I think I had about 3-4 inches cut. I didn't wait longer than 10 min for my son to be seen then me and my daughter were back to back. Nancy listened to what we wanted and did the job that's was asked. Great place! Have been about 4 or 5 times, I normally get a scissor cut, so nothing too elaborate, but always looks great. I was kind of new to the area, took me couple tries to find a good place, definitely feels good knowing I don't have to worry about the outcome every time I venture out to get a haircut. Two customers came in after us and were greeted with friendly demeanors and did not have appointments. 10 minutes went by and they took the man that came in after us as one of the barbers finished their cut. I walked out and will never be coming back. I know they don't need my service, but it doesn't cost anything to be a nice person and say hi.
