Love seeing Bri at Totality! She makes my lashes look phenomenal! I always leave feeling AMAZING! :)

I recently got lip filler from Dr. Nadel, the owner of Totality. I had previously seen another provider at the practice and had a great experience, so I returned expecting the same level of care. While my lips turned out great, I left the appointment feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. From the moment I entered the room, Dr. Nadel did not introduce herself or explain the procedure. Instead, she immediately began pointing out several things she felt were "wrong" with my face and recommended additional treatments. She mentioned at least five areas she thought needed work, which felt pushy and unprofessional. If you're trying to sell additional services, there's a much more respectful and collaborative way to do so. I've since heard from others that this seems to be a pattern in her approach. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this medspea based on my experience. read more

UPDATE: Thanks, I just noticed a response to this review post, but it is three years later that it was finally acknowledged and I no longer live in the state. I did reach out to you immediately after it occurred via your contact email on the website and left my concerns in a separate I believe it was a "rate your experience review" that was emailed to me. Both left ignored. I left that review because I previously worked in the medspa industry doing prp injections/hair transplants so I was in disbelief that treatment happened. I would never answer a personal phone call during an appointment, or put my hand to shush a customer to their face. I could only imagine how someone with no industry knowledge would feel after that. I remember walking out looking at the mirror in my car and saw the died blood droplets that dripped down my face, which means the staff that was trying to sell me products post injections clearly have had to see that as they were talking to me and said nothing. I would've looked crazy walking into Trader Joe's after that. Which was unfortunate because the Botox injections I received that day looked great after it settled. read more

I've been going to Totality on DI for years for Botox and microneedling with the same provider (who I won't name). After reading the most recent review about an uncomfortable encounter with the owner, I have to say I experienced something very similar! In my case, it wasn't Dr. Nader but my regular provider who started pointing out my flaws and pressuring me into additional procedures and products. It felt pushy and left me very uncomfortable. My sense is that the staff may be encouraged to mirror the owner's approach. It's disappointing, because up until now I had been a loyal client--but unfortunately, I won't be going back. read more

I got a spray tan at the Daniel Island location. The front desk was really rude and dismissive towards me. They were talking bad about one of their other co workers in front of me while I was signing in. The girl who sprayed me was nice but the spray tan showed up way too orange. I would NOT go here again. I've gotten many in my lifetime and it's by far the worst one I've gotten. read more

A friend recommended Totality to me after I posted on Facebook that I was looking for botox recommendations. From the second I walked in, I felt at ease and comfortable. The environment is serene and trendy, with staff that are warm and friendly. The environment was clean and professional looking, a must for me. The staff and providers were eager to answer any and all questions I had with compassion. One woman from the front even offered to hold my hand during the procedure (I'm a big baby). The practitioners use a vibrating tool to distract you from the pain so you really don't feel or notice what's going on. This is a review for ordering products for delivery only; I've never been to to the actual brick & mortar of Totality medispa - although based on their terrific customer service, I'm sure they are just as terrific in person! I've ordered from this company several times now because I'm obsessed with an expensive hair care line called R+CO, and they regularly have terrific discounts with free shipping at totality. Being that my hair care is shipped across country without any hitch is remarkable.... They wrap all the goods really well and I receive them promptly, even though shipping is complimentary. I wait for those coupon codes because I receive legit products that cost me a fortune at high end salons. I've recommend Medispa to family and friends because they are a small business with the best care and service that goes into whatever they have to offer. I've been coming to see Dr. Nicole since October 2020. She is so incredibly talented and all of the work I have done has looked so natural. Update: 7/23 - 4 months later - My brows are THRIVING!! I could see it but it was even more of a reality when Bethany pulled up the before pictures. My brows were very, very sad. Shapeless and thin. The only thing I did in addition was to use black castor oil at home to assist the process (but Bethany did the real magic...the waxer is very important) The brand I suggest is Rooted Treasure Castor oil; the purest you can get. read more

Dr. Nicole Nader is bright, helpful and (only a professional woman should say this about another...) a DOLL. So sweet- opened her office on a Sunday to help with patients who need weekend appointments. I hail from Miami where cosmetic procedures are very common, so I expect a very high level of proficiency. Dr. Nader was exactly that- her Botox application was one of the best I've ever had (and I go to the office of Dr, Brandt- who has passed but who is latterly credited for helping Allergan bring Botox to market. Still, I'd put Dr. Nader up against any of my doctors in Miami. It's three days later and my face looks great! She even recommended a new area for treatment. I tried it and it looks GREAT. Now.... for the part that you NEVER see in a doctor.... Dr. Nader has a rewards program, easy online booking and even checked on my Brilliant Distinction points for Botox (another rewards incentive). I think that is really going above and beyond. Last point- office is GORGEOUS. I'd happily spend a day a week here if I could. And she hosts parties, office get-togethers, staff appreciation events, bridal showers, etc. Dr. Nadel''s staff will put together a party "package" for you and your staff, co-workers, friends or family. My whole experience with Totality Medispa was wonderful! Everyone who works there is super nice and helpful. I have struggles with Trichotillomania (A hair pulling disorder) for over 10years now. I would have to draw on my eyebrows everyday and they would never look natural of even, so I finally invested in microblading. Ariana preformed my microblading. She is great and so helpful. I originally had some issues imagining the right shape for me when we were planning the sizes and she was so patient with me even though I made her re-do it a few times. I recommend watching videos online about the healing process so you know what to expect. They will be a bit darker for the first few days so don't panic, but in my experience I didn't feel like they looked unnatural at all even when they were a bit darker. They look so natural! It looks like you can actually touch them! The pain was irritating at first, but it is nothing near unbearable. You will get numbing cream later that helps a a lot. I will try to update when my brows are fully healed for the final results I recommend Totality Medispa for everyone. They are great and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you guys!
