I was told the repair would take 1-2 hours. However, I was later told there was only one technician handling repairs and that my pickup time would be 7:20 p.m. If the store was operating with only one repair technician and could not complete appointments within the timeframe quoted, that should have been communicated upfront. There is no reasonable expectation that a customer with a scheduled appointment should wait 45 minutes to check in and then be given a pickup time more than five hours after the appointment. This was poor scheduling, poor communication, and a frustrating use of my time. Apple needs to do better at managing repair appointments and setting realistic expectations for customers.
