My wife said "let's go find you a new system" and I found it's not as easy as it used to be. There's the big blue box store, cheap systems in other superstores, and buying online. I wanted to hear the system before buying. The first place I went to showed me systems 5 times my budget and way too big for my home office. I thought I'd have to go to Denver. Luckily, I found The Sound Shop and I was finally in a place that appreciated high-end sound but also understood not everyone needs a $15K system. Scott was awesome to talk with and he showed me the right system for me. He let me spend all the time I wanted playing different music and had loads of suggestions about music, speakers, and just seemed like he knew exactly what I wanted. There was a bit of a delay getting the system due to the chip shortage that's going on, but Scott and crew stayed in touch and got me back into the audiophile world and I couldn't be happier. They said they couldn't get any but I could by the 14 plus. I didn't care about the difference in cameras so I bought it. Purchased their "lifetime replacement" screen protector on their recommendation so I wouldn't have to worry about it again. Went back in today as my screen protector had some cracks and they told me to go pound salt. The very kind employee tried to help me and then.... enter management. The manager came out and spent 5 minutes talking down to me and then talking crap about the iPhone 14 plus and how no one bought them (what???) and so although they had screen protectors that fit my phone, they wouldn't honor their lifetime guarantee and I should go to another store and try my luck there. Not one "I'm sorry" or "this is on us." He made it utterly clear that I was an idiot for buying this phone as well as anybody else who did, and he gave no s$&ts that I gave them $40 for a $8 part or that they had promised to replace it. Didn't care that I had bought 4 phones from them in 4 years. Didn't care didn't care didn't care. Awesome. I pointed right at their lifetime guarantee sign set just 5 feet away and he just shrugged and made it clear I was being unreasonable. Never going back again. The statement seems to be "you are stupid for coming into our store, and if you don't know everything about phones, too bad dummy." Utterly disgusted and disappointed. The employees themselves are kind and accommodating. I like brick and mortar stores and go out of my way to give my money to the locations that I know. I had been coming here for 5 years and spent thousands. This manager has convinced me that I should never step into another AT&T ever again and just go to Amazon. In fact, I'm clicking buy now on my second screen as I type this. Nice job AT&T. Another customer lost. I'll start carrier shopping..... now.

I will have to wait for active service for 60 days. Call dropped. 2. Since first payment is due on the 1st, not 30 days as I was told, I paid $60 for the first 3 weeks, then $40 for the next month, and now a full $40 for the 7 days left to have the phone active. Waited for supervisor over an hour. Not on hold, but the service rep claiming he has to walk over to the supervisor and she knows I was waiting. He then told me that he can schedule a callback from the supervisor. I fell for it. 3. They are telling me that I activated the phone in July but have only made one payment. Holding again. 55 minutes. All of this and I never signed any agreements.

Russell Cellular Verizon, Albert Pike location, Hot Springs, AR charges a fee to transfer data,…read morepictures and apps from your old phone to your new phone. Abby Betts, store manager tried 5 times to set up my email and couldn't do so. We made five trips to Russell and the email app I use from the old phone was never set up so we returned the phone for a refund based on incomplete set up service. Russell Cellular Verizon charged us $180 to take the phone back. They say this is their restocking fee. I paid a set up fee and my email app from my old phone was not set up as I was assured by their store manager. I told MS. Betts I was not tech savvy at the first visit and she said, no problem we do set up all the time. She became less interested In fulfilling their paid set up obligation at each visit. Lastly Ms. Betts told me she couldn't transfer my email app from the old phone. I regret I ever walked into their store. Based on my terrible experience at Russell I give them one star and that's only because there is no option to give 0 (zero) stars. Beware! There are better and more professional customer oriented choices in Hot Springs, Arkansas
