They had a great (but not overwhelming IYKYK) draft list. The owner and beertender were so kind and helpful. I appreciate their guidance on my annoyingly intense dislike of all hazy, juicy, or milkshake-y beers. Just stop. Also, a surprising amount of space within the brewery from what you expect from outside. Hung out and worked in the loft which I highly recommend for study groups or non-study groups. But then I joined everyone else outside in the fantastic set up: a food truck, generous amount of seating, great conversation with locals, and such a talented singer/songwriter performing. Very happy I visited on a Friday. Truly disappointed that this gem of a place isn't in my neighborhood. I would be a regular to the nth degree!

Brewery - 5stars Love the beer - 5stars…read moreAtmosphere - 5stars This poor review has Nothing to do with those things, it's the indoor entertainment that's the problem. No not the caliber of players, no not the music genre... it's the volume! Three times we've been with friends and the volume inside is almost an assault on the ears (.. and my wife says I'm hard of hearing!). We love, love, love live music. Local artists? Incredible! But, for the volume of the music to become the focus of the day, you'd best be The Rolling Stones! We may have come out to hear someone play, but most importantly we've visited to share good times with our friends, catch up, and laugh. The music should bring ambiance, NOT be the focus - for us its kinship, beer and socializing, which we cannot do with the volume of the music so loud. We will continued to visit Old 690 but will stay away if they have entertainment indoors.

Their food service is great for pairing, I absolutely love their ciabatta bread and warm cheese spread with honey. My favorite thing to do is stop in, taste what is new and share a bottle and some snacks with friends while enjoying the views. I'm glad we picked this brewery since it had all amenities we were looking for. They have a good selection of food and tons of very reasonably priced drinks. They also have food trucks outside that serve food till 6 pm. The brewery is open till 10 pm and last call is at 9 so no one is rushing people out at sunset. There was also a wedding the day we were there which was so lovely! We got tacos and hot dogs which were great. We also got the dreamsicle frose and a bunch of beer flights to try. We sat inside earlier in the day when it was hotter since the dogs would be uncomfortable in the heat but at 5'pm the weather got real nice so we moved outdoors. They also have an alpaca which the kids went crazy for and also lots of goats. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time outdoors with the option of moving the party indoors if needed. They also have live music indoors which we really enjoyed.
