Good place to have a smoke. Friendly and comfortable. Decent selection of cigars. Also better ventilation than some of their competitors.

Okay, confession time: I know absolutely nothing about cigars. I walked into this shop on a mission to grab a few for a friend who actually knows what they're doing -- and I fully expected to leave feeling overwhelmed and smelling like a mahogany-scented imposter. Plot twist: I left with a sleek little cigar case, a hand-picked trio of cigars, and the confidence of someone who's been puffing on Cohibas since 1997. The guy working there was super laid-back and incredibly helpful -- no pressure, no cigar snobbery. He asked me a few questions about what my friend might like, made some solid recs, and even helped me pick out a case that looked fancy without being over-the-top. The shop itself has a great vibe -- kind of like if a speakeasy and a coworking space had a baby and filled it with cigar smoke and good music. A few folks were just hanging out on laptops, sipping drinks, and puffing away like it was the most normal Tuesday afternoon ever. It's chill, it's welcoming, and it feels like a spot where even total newbies (hi, me) are treated like part of the club. If you're into cigars -- or even if you're just gift-hunting for someone who is -- this place is a gem. Helpful staff, cool products, and an overall vibe that makes you want to grab a stick and stay awhile. read more

Route 7 Cigars - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Leesburg, Virginia

Fun little cigar place! Enjoyed a stick a few hours before a wedding. I had to attend and it was very relaxing. In addition to all the name brand stuff they carry, they also have proprietary bourbon cigars which I always make a point to get whoever I go whenever I go to a place that does their own. Relaxing little place. read more

Nice cigar selection, nice interior, nice owner, nice location. Nothing more to be said; Just a great place to grab cigars and enjoy either at the location or anywhere else. read more

Great selection of premium cigars, knowledgeable and attentive customer service, and enjoyable atmosphere to smoke and chitchat.

I've never been to the leesburg store but the sterling shop is hands down the best in the area. Great walk in humidor and lounge area. They carry all the best brands including padron, opus, drew estate, Aladino, Plasencia, tabernacle and so much more! A variety of blends and vitolas. What sets this place apart from others is the customer service. Kyle is an amazing tobacconist. He's knowledgeable and his recommendations are incredible. I drive nearly 40 minutes and pass by many shops closer to me for the incredible selection and customer service that is second to none! Tuesdays are double point days. They often run promotions so get on their mailing list. Note: I understand the leesburg site Carries more Davidoff if that's your thing. Love Route 7 Cigars. read more

Good selection, but even better than that the sales clerk knew the product, and was enthusiastic about helping. The only thing is something to help keep your newly purchased cigars from getting dry, the pot shops have little humidifier packs that they and to keep the product from drying out read more

A great selection of cigars. Awesome staff. Great place to hang out. Will come back. Thank you!

NOVA has a variety Tobacco purveyors subject to the vagaries of their respective humidors; however, this doesn't apply to Route7 Cigars! Route7 is the finest Tobacconist in a wide swath encompassing DC, Maryland, and WV. The proprietor Alejandro (Alec) is an encyclopedia of knowledge regarding cigars and fine smoking techniques for a variety of food! The knowledge he has on tobacco, brands, companies, etc. is unparalleled in my experience and is augmented by his "aide-de-camp," Chris M., providing voluminous information and humor on cigars, sports, and "take-out" meals for customers! The shop has a fine humidor, a merry and welcoming band of regulars, and a fervor of humor underlying each conversation! Join the members to enjoy a locker and private lounge or participate in the repartee available constantly in the public area! It's a great place! read more

This is a great place to chill and have a smoke. Good selection of cigars. The staff is friendly.

Weather its your first time thru the door or a regular, you ALWAYS get greeted with a warm, honest, friendly hello from either Alec or Chris. They never come off as pushy, but will always offer their assistance in help picking out a cigar. They have an extremely wide selection to choose from and their knowledge of every one of them is impressive to say the least. If you are unsure, just tell them what you like or don't like and they will offer up 3-4 suggestions. In my opinion, sitting down on the leather seats and lighting up with fellow smokers cant be beat. The air purifier/ventilation assures you are not sitting in a cloud of smoke the entire time. Play some dominoes, watch a game, browse the internet (free WiFi), join in conversation with the others, or sit and do nothing. The choice is yours, check this place out. You wont be disappointed. read more

The staff are very knowledgeable and always have great suggestions for me. Being new to cigars, I feel like I learn more and more every time I go into either store. They have a large selection and know how to get you to a cigar choice that fits your liking. The owner, specifically, has been nothing but helpful and extremely friendly towards me. He's not just a "put on a good face for business" kinda guy, rather he's just a genuine man. I specifically drive out of my way to go here because of the atmosphere. They give you text message updates on sales and new arrivals if you opt into it. I tried a few recommended cigars to include the AVO UVENZIAN and the CAMACHO Ecuador distillery edition. Loved the Avo Uvenzian! The Camacho was a little off my liking, but a good cigar nonetheless. Both had a long burn time and a good flavor. I would 100% recommend anyone who enjoys cigars. They also have a sit in area where you can smoke and socialize. Very nice leather chairs and tv's. If you haven't had the chance to come in YOU ARE MISSING OUT! read more
