Reaching out to this business was straight-forward, I emailed them and a kind woman called me by phone to setup an appointment. With any questions that she didn't know the answer to, she redirected me to email it so an electrician can better answer my question. I had my appointment scheduled and the gentleman, Doc, was assigned to perform the inspection. Doc arrived on-time, was detail oriented in his inspection, and was very patient to explain his findings and recommendations on what were a safety concern first, and what could be addressed later. He explained things over the phone thoroughly and explained his thought process and was open to any questions I had without being annoyed. Within a day, I received his inspection report, a quote for the project/repairs needed, and pictures of the inspection. He was also easy to reach by text. Doc was professional, courteous, and responsive. The cost of the inspection, I think, was a decent value. I highly recommend Veteran Electric to anyone seeking a safety electrical inspection and I hope I'm able to say the same about their quality of work when I hire them for electrical projects. Fast forward to today (over a week later), we still haven't heard from them. My husband has called a few more times the last week and not a blip from them. I texted the owner's number last night and told him my hesitation in posting this negative review due to their extreme lack of communications. Still no response. As much as I like supporting local businesses, I'm also one who leaves reviews based on our experience (negative or positive). However, I did receive a quote/estimate from them. Firstly, they were 2 hours late for the quote (scheduled for 12, arrived at 2-2:30). They didn't text or call me to confirm if the delay was ok. Then all of sudden someone knocks at our door. YIKES!!! Nevertheless, we did get the quote. The worst part was the price. We needed to replace 2 existing ceiling fans. Box replacement was not required, only the fan and down rods. $879.....WHOAAAAAA!!!! $879 whole American dollars.... that is a JOKE. :-/ But it wasnt funny. LOLOLOL Someone came the following Saturday (another Yelp find, also a certified electrician). He charged us $350 and we gave him a tip for fast, on time, reliable and price comparable service. I won't say these guys are crooks - but I will say, I found a licensed certified electrician to do the same work for $400 less. In fact we had 4 different quotes...all were between 350-400$, all except the quote from Warfield. This is the only reason why I am writing this review....to warn other homeowners. Please be aware... ...get a second or even third estimate. It could save you $$$$.

Fantastic company. This was a small job but it entailed a risky approach to simply installing a…read morecover plate above a very high ceiling above a stair. Mission accomplished. This required very long screws that were not painted and this was handled as well. The second task was to repair/replace and existing fan, again in a peaked ceiling of about 14'. Initial job was to test whether power was reaching the fan. It was not. Net step was checking the switches and it was not. On to checking the switch which turned out to be faulty. Upon replacement, fan actually worked. I was very impressed that one of the owners and a helper showed up on time (acutally a bit early). Job required both a 24 foot ladder and a 16 foot ladder. Price was exceptionally reasonable (less that cost of new 400 fan I was able to return via Amazon. These folks are the true deal with service, great attitude and bi-lingual. Do not hesitate to hire these folks. Angel and his team are exceptional, quality human beings.
