All the things I had missed for so long, clear for the first time in 20 years.I had previously used Dr Grossman to have annual eye exams with glasses and contacts to be able to SEE!!! I was so excited to reconnect with him at Dr. Filutowski's Eye Institute. He always gives me the facts relating to my eye exam and issues I will be facing as I age. All the staff are dedicated to providing service without any rose colored glasses. This is an annual visit for me to maintain my vision without issues.

I am still waiting for the remainder to get refunded. My first surgery was April 2, 2026. My second was April 30, 2026. It's now June 17th and it may still be another month before I get the overpayment back.

I still have very unfavorable issues with Sebastian since the first time I left a review. He had called me to threaten and belittled me after what I said in my review. There is no place in the business world where Sebastian belongs.

Everytime I went I would spend 5 to 6 hours sitting and waiting. The check in waiting room waiting room has at least 50 people waiting to check in.waited 45 mins to check in for my appointment ,,,then directed to the actual waiting room with even more people waiting. Most of the clients were very old and many had difficulty walking...there was no water or coffee..no food and we all sat and waited to be called. Once called we would see staff for 15 mins and doctor for about 5..as an example my final visit I had an 11:00 am appt and left at 3:30. This was typical of every one of my visits. The reason for long wait was management who hires and sets quota. The staff is great..but overworked...I had my surgery and follow-ups and each appt was like this. I am so happy to never return. But my concern is to have so many elderly and non English people waiting with no food or water Or any idea how long they will sit unt being seen. Guess money does rule all . My suggestion...hire more staff and schedule fewer people each day.

The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited for you to experience your results! The office make the entire process easy and streamlined; from consultation to the procedure. In your consultation you learn about Lasik and PRK, meet with your Optometrist to ensure Lasik or PRK is right for you, and answer any questions you may have. If you choose to proceed, map out your payment and schedule your procedure. The procedure, very mild discomfort for less then 5 mins. Whole procedure is done in like 15 mins... 15 mins to clear eyesight! When you leave you are given meds, vitamins, eye drops to aid your healing. After the procedure, go home, take a nap or lay down in a dark room (or wear shades) with music, audio book, or podcast for a few hours. Your eyes will burn and sting but it's tolerable. Unfortunately, my experience with the physicians was far less impressive. I was repeatedly passed from one doctor to another within the same practice, each citing a different area of specialization. Rather than coordinated care, the process felt inefficient and, frankly, transactional--almost as if each referral was designed to secure another slice of the insurance reimbursement. After seeing nearly every doctor in the office, I was inexplicably routed back to the first one. At that point, it was clear no one had a definitive understanding of my condition. Adding to the frustration, the practice billed my medical insurance instead of my eye insurance, creating yet another unnecessary complication. Thankfully, after switching insurance providers, I visited a different ophthalmologist who accurately diagnosed and resolved the issue in just two appointments. It's disappointing that a practice with such polished facilities and advanced equipment fell short where it mattered most: precise diagnosis, continuity of care, and competent billing.

Both the gentleman at the front and the receptionist (who barely would speak to me) were both unwelcoming and rude.When speaking with the gentleman to order my glasses when asked the basic question of what can I add on he waved around a list and wouldn't answer my question and when I asked to read it he shoved it at me and said "can you read this?!" And showed me the paper with the abbreated add ons. At that point I shut down and dont want to pay to add anything on, I'm not going to spend my money here. He was extremely rude to both my husband and I to the point where we both shocked and said something back to him at which point he apologized and he had to correct himself and take back what he said. After confirming my glasses we leave and as we are buckling our son in, he proceeds to follow us to the parking lot demanding I pay an 80 dollar bill that had not been disclosed before, never had to pay anything before the appointment and no one ever said anything until I left the building, so insane which is very unfortunate considering how great the dr is.
