I had to go to another DR to get it done because they didn't see a reason. HUGE issue! Later found out I had the problem I had thought about. She said that was fine to head over . Within a minute they called back and said don't bother coming , now that we know you have insurance we can't see you . I headed out for Advent health as they recommended and saw this urgent care on my way to Advent Health, I didn't realize it was the same place I called . When I walked in the receptionist clearly irritated called me by name that was on her caller ID and said I told you we can't see you . I think their explanation for refusing to treat me is absolutely ridiculous. Anyway I explained I thought that the urgent care I called was further towards Ponce Inlet . I didn't realize I walked into the same office I called . The ironic thing is I went to Advent Health that this urgent care very dismissively recommended and they also didn't take my health insurance but they were very glad to treat me . They said being self pay was not an issue even though they also knew I have health insurance. Thankfully they did a outstanding job with my care . I was disappointed that this closer urgent care in the Shores would not take my money but Advent Health wasn't to much further . I just have a hard time believing now that they couldn't see me when the other urgent care did with the exact circumstances. They should have just been honest we pick and chose who we want to treat !

Dr. Vartan's knowledge base and careful consideration of my son's long standing symptoms (previously ignored by his prior pediatrician) led to a prompt referral to neurology that discovered his Tourettes syndrome. My own issues were addressed immediately as well until diagnoses were found, not ignored after initial negative findings like my previous PCPs. I intend to return to their care as soon as their private practice is launched assuming they can accept my insurance. Their care has proven swift, intensive, and CORRECT thus far for all of us. I have taken patients there and literally waited hours in the waiting room and then waited another hour in the back patient room to be seen. They are not my personal doctors but I have been taking my employers here for years I definitely would not sign up to be a patient at the Daytona office. As an edit, I should add that Dr Patterson may not be aware of how rude her staff is. Regardless she is a wonderful if you can get an appointment with her.
