I thought I made excellent progress and was very happy with myself. I thought the Dr. would be as well. What happened with the visit was nothing short of a negative Nancy visit and what the Dr. did during the visit was just plain rude! We were talking about my losing weight and all he could say was I won't be losing anymore weight and to just exercise 3 x's a week from now on or I'll gain all my weight back. Then he does something that floored me. He takes his computer and closes it half way down so he won't look at me any longer. I was stunned and bothered by his actions. I thought "how rude and why is he doing that?" What a jerk! He never answered my one question that I had and he only told me that I won't be losing anymore weight from now on that where I am is where I'll be from now on and that is that. What kind of Dr. is he??? I slept on this and I'm mad! Who is he to tell me that I'm done losing weight and I won't be losing anymore plus he wasn't supportive in the least!! Not to mention rude as hell! My thought is, that he got my money from the surgery and now he's done with me. Now his true colors are coming out. What a jerk!

Dr. Anderson was friendly and knowledgeable and the assistant was also. They were patient and helpful for my daughters and my other 2 kids that had to come with us. The follow up appointment was a little disappointing though. The assistant just took the bandaid off, looked at it and said it looks fine but I needed to clean out some scabbing. I told her I tried to but couldn't because I wasn't sure what needed to come out and what didn't. Instead of offering to show me or do it, she just dismissed us and left the room. I have a history of stress fractures (4 in the…read morepast 4 years) & was hopeful that the nagging pain in my foot was not a bone injury when I visited Dr Anderson. He assured me that the region I was feeling pain could not possibly be a stress fracture & did not order an MRI. Instead, he suggested that we do a little trial and error with steroid injections to try to figure out the exact source of pain and cause. After 2 appointments getting my foot pumped full of steroids, the pain had not really gone away, and I asked my primary care physician for an MRI referral. The image showed a stress fracture at the base of the 4th metatarsal. Unfortunately (and unknown to me at the time), fracture healing is SLOWED by steroid injections. So, it is now three months later, and my broken metatarsal is still broken with about the same amount of pain, and I am unable to return to weight-bearing athletics - probably due to the fact that I let Dr Anderson inject me with steroids, which hindered my body's ability to heal. In retrospect, I am very angry. If you are a foot doctor & a patient walks in the door saying: "I'm a marathon runner & this is probably a stress fracture. I'm unusually prone to fractures, and I have had four in the past 4 years," then you should listen to your patient and at least order an image to rule out the most likely cause of pain before experimenting in ways that could do lasting damage.

Found Dr. Duncan and felt heard and cared for. All interactions have been friendly, professional, and prompt. I felt the care that I received was quite personal for my needs, including the way the anesthesiologist talked with me. The office is big- a bit older style but clean. Front desk staff is nice. Upon arrival, I completed my paperwork and was taken back pretty promptly for my appt. Once Dr. Duncan arrived, I explained to her my needs but without really asking questions, she began discussing another option that she studies and has brought into her practice. It was so far off the reason for my appt, I didn't really know what to say. Though interesting, I wasn't inclined to purse it though I went through the estimate process with her billing coordinator. A 10 min procedure was $2500 and Dr.Duncan said she hasn't done a lot of them. I just wasn't so confident about things with her. She seems nice enough but I wished more time with me on the subject I was there for would have happened. I felt dismissed in a way... If that makes any sense. My very first experience was not too good i had seen a doctor who told me she cannot do the extraction that i so badly needed and i had to wait for a surgeon and he was booked for the next 2 months. I told the front desk lady after seeing said doctor and paying that i wasn't happy and I am in pain. she recommended a doctor there who they called "extraction queen" i don't recall her name but the office lady told me if she cant do it then i would have to see a surgeon and pretty much assured me that she was the best. So, I went back and saw the Doctor. I had an x-ray taken and she scheduled me for 2 days later to get that tooth removed. She had some trouble getting me numb enough but made sure I was calm and numb enough so she could get it out. She did amazing! It didn't crack it and gave good instructions on how to eat and clean for the next couple of days. So don't give up right away ask for the "extraction queen" if you have an issue like that. my further visits to get all my cavities fixed i had been seeing Dr Gardner and his assistant and some of his apprentices. This doctor saved my life not once...but twice!…read more I had neck surgery done several years ago by a local orthopedic surgeon, who accidentally ripped my esophagus during the procedure. A week later, I had 13 post surgical infections. Luckily Dr. Peskind was on call the night I came into the ER. Yeah, he was a little doom and gloomy when I first met him, but in all reality it WAS that serious, and he was concerned. Like a night in shining armor, he helped clean the infection up with a few more surgeries and repaired the rip and put me on a life saving antibiotic regimen, then sent me home to recover for a few more months. Remember I have this huge hole in my throat, with no way to eat...so they had to put a picc line in to get me nutrition. Well, one day my neck starts to hurt pretty bad, so I return to my orthopedic surgeon. He looked me over and couldn't find anything. The pain was pretty unbearable and was warm and tender to the touch and I wasn't willing to ignore it. I didn't know exactly what was going on, but I did know enough to trust my gut which was telling me to go directly to Dr. Peskind's office. He evaluated me and concluded that I most likely had a blood clot as a result of some sort of problem with my picc line. He called the hospital and got me set up with an overnight stay with all the tests I needed. I didn't even have to wait in the stupid ER. True VIP service. It turns out he was right. I did have a blood clot. So there you have it. A man who saved my life twice. Maybe he wasn't as touchy feely as I am. After, the whole save-my-life-thing-twice occurred, I went in to give him a heartfelt "thank you" and reached my arms out in an embracing fashion. He completely froze up and a little terrified said, "Oh God, you're going to hug me now aren't you?" "Yep, that's what you get for saving my life. Deal with it!"

Ross McFarland and his associated doctors also seemed very unprepared coming into patient meetings. He did no homework on lab results or what was going on with the patient ahead of time.
