The bidding process and contract signing were simple and straightforward. The rate I was initially quoted for an open trailer was very competitive. When Kevin P called with the opportunity to upgrade to an enclosed trailer, he was my best advocate to get a reasonable rate. Even though the upgrade increased the cost a little, Kevin P. worked hard to secure an amazing rate for the enclosed trailer. The NRG contract was clear, with no hidden fees nor unexpected costs. Kevin P. was highly responsive throughout and took the time to address every question I had. The driver, Derek, was equally impressive. Derek communicated his estimated time of arrival clearly and was extremely careful while loading both vehicles. He arrived on time, delivered on time, and Kevin followed up throughout the day to ensure everything was proceeding correctly. I can't say enough good things about NRG Transport and Kevin specifically. NRG's level of service exceeded my expectations. The next time I need anything related to car transport, I won't hesitate to call NRG and request Kevin P. as my liaison. For the full experience traveler: Arriving at Nena's Phoenix office and boarding the van was like…read moreinstantly teleporting into Mexico before the van was even in motion! So entertaining. The "terminal" is in the corner of a mini strip mall. We passed by it looking for it. The check-in area is the size of a single car garage. The van was in terrible cosmetic condition and there were boxes and luggage taking up seats because the cargo area was packed tight. Everyone was Spanish speaking and a few of us were bi-lingual. We packed ourselves in and sat shoulder to shoulder. A very bonding experience. We arrived in Puerto Peñasco in very good time. The driver on all legs of the trip had no hesitation to pass slower traffic. The van on the México side was much nicer, more comfortable with a high ceiling. That van had all the seatbelts available, though, everyone but myself had 100% confidence we were safe passing lines of cars at high speed. I will use them again. The place that quoted me $250.00 USD would have been unmemorable and boring. AND I met a very cool taxi driver that completed my journey to my destination in Cholla Bay. He gave me his number to call if I needed anything, anytime. $65 plus a Lyft/Uber to the terminal and taxi to Cholla Bay with a burrito stop ($500 MXP). Nena has departures every 2 hours starting at 06:00. The other shuttle company ($250) depart once a day from the airport to your accommodations in Peñasco and the trip must be pre approved by their administration.

I have…read moredropped my aunt off at this location on multiple occasions and she has made it successfully to her destination in Douglas. The attendant is helpful and when I asked if the shuttles are ever cancelled he was honest enough to say that the 11AM shuttle is usually the one to get cancelled and the least full. The place itself is modest looking but has a lot of seating for those needing to wait for their shuttle. You can purchase a bottle of water at the counter if needed, although there is also a convenience store in the same shopping center. Each shuttle is essentially a large passenger van that seats about 10 people. Don't expect a Greyhound experience as these are simple vans. The business is very hard to get a hold of when calling so it's best to show up in person if you have questions. For anyone wondering if this place is legitimate, they are.

Tufesa stepped up when Greyhound takes a turn with passengers in the wrong direction!…read more Greyhound is inconsistent with the service it provides to all customers, Leaving passengers stranded or scrambling to find another way to get to their destinations. Thank goodness there was a Better Alternative!!! I spoke with Sebastian who was bilingual and local in a US call center I asked if he spoken English and with a half second with clear understanding he confirmed that he spoke English. I explained to him my friends' last minute problem at greyhound. 1. He acknowledged the situation immediately and put me on hold. He came back with Clear Cut instructions and information from his direct supervisor of what Tufesa would do for the passenger. 2. I was able to merger the calls and he calmed the passenger distress with his voice with clear instructions of location and direction. Explaining where the station was and it gave him time to get to the station on 27th avenue. 3. Sebastian confirmed his ticket purchase text and said that Tufesa had plenty of room for him and other passengers. That was probably the greatest experience I've have seen of a competitor bus company. The service was clean and easy and I appreciate your empathy towards the people you serve as a service company! Give Tufesa a try when traveling abroad and remember this experience will help others know that there are alternatives other than the greyhound. I purchased 4 tickets through the official Tufesa app on February 20, 2026 (Receipt #1851-3109, total $168.48). At the time of purchase I selected seats 13, 14, 15 and 16 so my daughters and I could sit together, including one minor passenger. We arrived at the Phoenix terminal about two hours before departure, and at the ticket window staff confirmed that our QR codes were valid for boarding. However, when boarding began, we were suddenly told that our names were not on the passenger list. We were sent back to the ticket window even though we showed: * QR tickets * payment receipt * confirmation purchased weeks earlier We were left standing over 30 minutes while the bus was preparing to leave. During this time, an employee who identified herself only as "Alejandra" or "Alejandrina" behaved in a very rude and dismissive manner, blaming us for purchasing tickets through the mobile app and refusing to provide her full name when asked. While we were still at the terminal trying to resolve the issue, we suddenly received a notification in the system showing different seat numbers (31, 34, 27, 38) instead of the seats we originally purchased. This clearly indicates that our original seats were reassigned at the last minute. We were then forced to board with separate seats at the back of the bus, even after explaining that one passenger was a minor who needed to sit with a parent. This situation raises serious concerns regarding: * confirmed tickets not being honored * possible seat resale or overbooking * extremely poor customer service at the Phoenix location * lack of accountability from staff I have documented the incident with screenshots of the payment receipt, ticket folios, and seat reassignment, and I have submitted a formal complaint. I hope the company reviews what happened at the Phoenix terminal and ensures that confirmed reservations are respected in the future.
