I was seated immediately but my nails were not started until about 6:30pm or later. I was asked if I wanted a drink so I chose a mimosa but I took about two sips of it because I realized it was not a real mimosa. It tasted like the juice used in it was sunny d which was very off putting. Probably the most underwhelming mimosa I've ever had. Anyway, the lady who did my nails was Jackie. She was SO sweet and attentive. That's not the type of energy i usually encounter at nail shops so she was the best part of my visit. I did not leave until a little after 8pm (the shop closes at 7). But she did a great job on my nails. I am a little disappointed that my nails do not look exactly like the inspo pic that I showed her but she did a really good job as far as the design and shape of the nails goes. Not too thick and every nail is shaped perfectly and the same length so I'm glad about that. I can say that I may be back some day but this nail shop would not be my first choice.

Took one star off because my nail tech said I was too young for my initial requested nail shape, and talked me into something slimmer, but I ended up with fat nails. She asked how she could help me when I got to the counter. I told her I need a manicure, eyebrow waxing, and a facial. She asked if I had an appointment, I said no, I looked for a place to book one on your website but there was none. She says oh I'm sorry the girl that do facial not here today. A big nail shop like that and they only have one person employed there to give facials. I find that extremely unlikely! This is the second salon I go to where I've been given an excuse. I didn't say a word, I just left. Either it's men in general or maybe it's just fags they don't want to wait on. I don't know. But good luck find a shop in Galveston County cause I sure can't. I guess going in clean shaven, well dressed, wearing cologne, carrying a $300 wallet and a $2,500 iPhone along with the key fob to a Cadillac makes me too trashy for these shops. I've never been so insulted in my life other than at Texas Nails in Galveston.

This place has really gone downhill! The man who did my mani/pedi rushed through everything and…read moreeven had to redo my big toes. My feet weren't smooth at all, just soft from soaking in the water. After my manicure, my hands were left ashy because I told him I was sensitive to the lotion they use and requested oil instead. He repeated 'oil' but continued the process without giving me a hand massage. As for my brows, the older woman with the bob haircut supposedly 'arched' them, but my left brow is neat and cute while the right one is shaped but not neat she didn't bother to pluck the stray hairs or anything Overall, this was a horrible experience, if I only give a 1 rating because the younger lady that works there now is nice, communicative and understanding.

For me sitting with a straight back is what I need. (when you have chronic low back pain the poofy cushion chair wasn't for me) but other than that, it was a nice experience.
