I have gone here for three different issues (low back, shoulder and knee) over the past several years.
The main guy, Joe Gazo, met with me to hear what triggered and aggravated the situation. I felt like that weighed in, with Joe, as much as the doctor report he has read. Joe is friendly and professional, very easy to communicate with. He genuinely wants to gather the information that will help deliver you from pain.
Joe does the professional treatment (massage, dry needling etc.) himself. His staff (who are motivated, conscientious, and educated) then guides you though the treatment plan. They bring the heat, and later the ice. They facilitate all the changing of equipment or weights; they demo the exercise and then watch you perform it to ensure accuracy and make whatever changes are necessary. I love that they do not leave you off in a corner to hope you're doing it correctly.
Their scheduling is efficient. They seem to be expecting me when income in and the flow of patients is smooth. I have yet to feel like I'm waiting or being put off.
TST equipment is very clean. The pillow cases are changed and the tables are sprayed and wiped down between clients.
TST sends you off with a print out of the exercises you are supposed to do at home, including pictures, and designated sets & reps.
I have avoided surgery in at least two situations because of the treatment (& for doing the homework) given by Total Sports Therapy.
As a side note it seems like a great place to work. Everyone works well together and seems to enjoy being there. They play great music. I love going. read more
