Within an hour the entire old deck had been removed. The install began with laying out a perimeter feature board, followed by the main deck boards of a contrasting color to make the deck even more beautiful. There were several mitred corners to be dealth with as well as stairs. By the end of the day, the entire deck including stairs was completed. I think we had a 1/2 board left over. The yard was swept so you would have never had known any one was there. Everyone in the crew was friendly and a pleasure to work with. They even allowed our dog, Beans, to oversee the work. True quality, professional install, I would highly recommend McCormack contracting. Jon/Julie Rowland

Let me just say that Miguel is incredible to work with! He knows what he is doing and he loves doing it, which makes all the difference in the world. He puts his heart and soul into his business on many levels. One level is his fabulous customer service skills, he is kind and understanding to his clients needs, and he helps them through some of the situations they have to face with much patience and tact. That isn't always easy to do in his profession, but he does it with ease. Another level is he gives practical advice to his clients and helps them to see the big picture so things aren't just a quick fix, but rather one for longevity. Another amazing quality he has is his impeccable attention to detail. He notices everything and he doesn't do ANYTHING half way. He is ALWAYS thorough and doesn't take the easy route in any situation. He is a hard worker and faces any challenges with grace, and he always has wonderful suggestions for the situation. He is skilled and extremely talented, he has helped out with multiple projects over the past 5 weeks, including putting in new flooring, new closet systems, garage storage and this week he and his crew began the reconstruction of the entire kitchen. They made the demolition a breeze and handled it quickly and efficiently, and they were incredibly neat and cleaned everything up as if it never happened. They were able to correct a sagging floor and did so at the root of the issue, not just bandaid it to make it easier on themselves. Which is evidence of another wonderful quality, his integrity! As a businessman, he is trustworthy and dependable and you can rely on him to be straightforward with you at all times. On top of all of these things, he is also affordable. As a professional, I know it's hard to find good people to work with. Miguel is one of those great people, and I look forward to working with him again. Thank you Miguel for everything, you have helped make the project a pleasure to deal with and helped with many challenges that I could not have dealt with alone. Best Wishes to you and your business!

Our carpenter added that it made him "feel good to see quality work like that." Similar statements were shared by just about everyone who came to visit our home during the time that Deck Master was constructing the masterpiece that was to become our outdoor living space in Florida. In January of 2026, Deck Master began building the first of three projects: our screened porch, which to call a mere "screened porch" seems like a gross injustice. This became a cathedral-like space on an elevated Trex deck with soaring asymmetrical ceilings (designed by a wonderful architectural engineer Lou recommended). The entire structure was supported by massive 6" x 6" cedar-clad posts framing a 180° view of a subtropical paradise. Every morning, six days a week, Andre and Timmy would show up with Lou and begin working tirelessly to get the job done. They worked through the coldest days imaginable and hardly ever stopped to take a break. Their focus and professionalism were incredible. When the screened porch was nearly done, we asked them to take a look at our front and back decks, which desperately needed to be replaced. Even though we had not originally contracted them to rebuild the decks for us, they agreed to fit the additional work into their busy schedules. Lou brought in reinforcements to make sure the work could be finished before Andre had to leave for a very important family commitment. To say that I would recommend Deck Master Company is an understatement because I don't think there is another company in the world that could have done what they did. Over 45 years of experience and a deep commitment to their work and business have put Lou and his team into a class of their own. NOTE: it looks to me that negative reviews may have been posted by competitors.

When I called them to make good on the repair they wanted $2200 to repair the deck instead of making good on their workmanship. From the beginning, it was very easy to communicate with Joe and get quick responses on putting a formal proposal together. Upon approval the Uno team helped us with obtaining the necessary permits for construction and even helped connect us with architects and designers. Throughout the renovation, Joe and Silvina did a great job on keeping us posted on progress as well as letting us know when items we supplied will be needed by. As issues came up, Joe did a great job on quickly bringing them to our attention so we can get them addressed quickly. This helped us keep the project on-time and maintain scope. From the plumbing to electrical, tile work and everything in between the quality of the work done by Uno was top-notch and built to last. They were even great at design touches. We sent them inspiration pictures of rooms and design touches and they were able to execute them even better than what was in the picture.
