We have been here a few times and the thing that is most resonant is the knowledge of the owner and today, the owner was not there but the woman who was, was equally as knowledgeable!!! Most of the times we have visited have been we were looking for something in particular.. last night we had some big storms /high winds and one of our dogs kept us up all night. We wanted to purchase something to have in the house for the next time something like this happens. She actually recommended something that was out of stock. She explained why she preferred that product and then showed us another one which we purchased. It would be very easy to spend a lot of money in this little store! There have all the best toys, accessories, food and treats.. you name it for dogs (cats too) and they have it. Think quality products and it's here.. well behaved dogs welcome!

When I went to mother Hubbard's they had six or seven of the foods on that list. They truly carry the healthiest animal food at mother Hubbard's!!! If you love your for babies like I love mine ..do your homework get the right food for them... Mandy is the greatest help in there she's just lovely. She is well informed of all the foods and can answer anything about all of them. Also the owners of the store Tom and his lovely wife are absolute animal lovers as well. Their prices are significantly better than you will find at Tisol and Bosleys. While I haven't had hedgies since 2012 I had this longing for another lately so after about a month of procrastination and really it was just tally how much the new guy would run me (as I recently already spent over $500 on fish tank and reptile decor for my "2" very spoiled roborovski dwarf hamsters just less than 5 days ago), and they were nice enough to tell me a free membership gets me almost $40 off so yeah sign me up The assistant store manager was the one that took my call. And she was there waiting for me at 7:30 pm to help me get my new boy packed up for his commute home. I did get my boy settled in nicely. And I hope the lady sees this review. And yes. I WILL BE SENDING THE SURREY LOCATION A BOX OF LINERS AND SNUGGLE SACKS AND OTHER CAGE FLEECE ACCESSORIES LIKE HAMMOCKS FOR THE FERRETS AND RATS. I didn't know pet stores would consider laundry and utilize fleece items if donated to better enrich and cater to the comfort of the animals. This is a company I can 100% get behind and give them a hand where needed. Donations. Allen should not be a manager he does not care about his customers/customer needs. I recommend not to go there and if you go their to stay clear of Allen.

I got a new puppy and sought them out for advice on premium puppy food . They sold me on the raw food diet but they were grossly uninformed about the recommended feeding portion for my puppy. I found the label confusing so I relied on a staff member who presented themselves as very knowledgeable. To my horror I found out based on her advice , she had me starving my puppy for almost a month and a half! After questioning the amount on my last visit, a man, Whom I assume is the owner informed me of his employee's error. He apologized but there was no recompense, no follow up, no solution.... Nothing!
