They picked up the call. And not only did the confirm they had, and the price, and yes they don't hold.... They did. Just for me. Cuz it would take me 2+ hours to commute in from the other side of BC. I got there with about 25 minutes to spare before closing. Was introduced to my new baby hog and his quirks and personality. And he was super chill just like they said. Poor little guy has been there since Christmas waiting for (me) someone to take him home. While I haven't had hedgies since 2012 I had this longing for another lately so after about a month of procrastination and really it was just tally how much the new guy would run me (as I recently already spent over $500 on fish tank and reptile decor for my "2" very spoiled roborovski dwarf hamsters just less than 5 days ago), and they were nice enough to tell me a free membership gets me almost $40 off so yeah sign me up The assistant store manager was the one that took my call. And she was there waiting for me at 7:30 pm to help me get my new boy packed up for his commute home. I did get my boy settled in nicely. And I hope the lady sees this review. And yes. I WILL BE SENDING THE SURREY LOCATION A BOX OF LINERS AND SNUGGLE SACKS AND OTHER CAGE FLEECE ACCESSORIES LIKE HAMMOCKS FOR THE FERRETS AND RATS. I didn't know pet stores would consider laundry and utilize fleece items if donated to better enrich and cater to the comfort of the animals. This is a company I can 100% get behind and give them a hand where needed. Donations. Give me a few weeks and I will be mailing in a box of goodies for all the little critters THANK YOU SO MUCH (i forgot your name ASM, but you were absolutely amazing and helpful and i felt good supporting a company that cares this deeply about the welfare of the animals in their care. When you walk in, you can't tell they carry any animals. There's ZERO smells!!! I used four months of the product and since it was winter and the fleas didn't seem to be a problem, I figured I would stop using it for a few months to not waste the product. The flea problem became problematic again a few months ago and I have faithfully applied it to my cat once every 30 days as directed. I couldn't understand why my cat was still scratching incessantly, spitting up hairballs (realized later it was from licking the bites), and I was finding drops of blood on our bathroom counter everytime he sat up there (later found out those were flea feces). Finally, two days after the 3rd treatment, I started to pick through his fur to figure out why he was still scratching so much. I picked off over 30 ADULT, very alive fleas! Two days after the treatment, those things should have been dead, if not almost dead. I went to call the number on the Frontline box and found it was from Austrailia, so I couldn't contact them. I called the US version of the company and they informed me it is illegal for any company to send over a foreign product of Frontline to the US. I had to fog my apartment, bring my cat to the vet for a flea bath, get more flea treatment and sprays...costing me close to $200.00. The vet told me that I was the third person in a week that shared about ineffective Frontline product that was bought online with an Austrailian box. I called Total Pet Supply and they said too much time had passed (I bought a year supply and it has not been a year) and they would only refund the last 5 vial - but take no responsibility for the rest of the product used (even though it was ineffective). DO NOT BUY THEIR STUFF - AWFUL, AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!

Their prices are significantly better than you will find at Tisol and Bosleys. They also sell many accessories you'd find in other pet stores, food bowls, shampoo, kitten formula, cat scratchers, carriers, etc. They have parking and another entrance behind the building.

They boast 700 tanks, what they don't tell you was 75% of them were empty or had the same fish in multiple tanks. No variety of plants. The place looked so well lit in the photos, but it was dark and dreary. When my Grandson wanted to know what kind of fish was in the large ponds with the Koi, the staff member rolled her eyes at me and she walked away without answering us. While they had some beautiful fish in some tanks. A lot of the tanks were covered in algae. And the fish food to feed the creatures in the 2 big ponds, looked liked Nutro max dog food.
