Discovered by accident that Duralum makes a custom weather guard that's included with purchase of a solid insulated cover, but for some reason they don't automatically include it with purchase (you have to ask for it). Adam at Patio Guy doesn't do a lot of work with Duralum, so he wasn't aware this was even available. But two months after installing my cover, he was able to get the gutter guard after the fact and have it installed for me. With El Nino coming this winter, I'm going to need it. The size is about 9 ft x 20 ft ahead if schedule. Great. The work took about 4 to 5 hours including demo The work was very good and it looks very nice. They built my sons patio cover and he referred them to me. Minor issue: the round column head and bottom are same piece. At the bottom one side is colored yellow and I had to asked it be painted which took 20 minutes. On the whole, they did a very good job and the price is lower It also included light fixtures.
