When I went to use the gift certificate on my birthday in May, I was told that it had expired at the end of March. When I told the Owner that we did not realize that the gift certificate expired in 3 months, he said he was sorry. I told him that I had been coming to his business for at least 7 years and I didn't understand why a gift certificate would only be good for 3 months and it would be nice for him to honor the certificate since he received the money. He said sorry but he wasn't going to. I waited 2 days and then called him again and he told me that he didn't want to lose a customer but he wasn't going to honor it. I think it's sad that he received $70 and we didn't get anything in return.

From the outside sign, it looked like a new salon. That would be a no. I'm kind of a stickler when in comes to cleanliness. If you don't mind the possibility of getting a nail fungi, than you may be fine with coming to this salon. the inch thick layer of every ones nail trimmings and shavings throughout the salon seems really sanitary. See the pic. I think its been a decade since they ran a vaccume or wiped any counter tops. I like the fact that you can have a box with your own nail file etc, but i was not offered one. Seems like a bit of an oxymoron to me that they even attempt to have sterile and sanitary items for use when their salon itself is so digusting/cluttered/dusty. I wanted to walk out once i sat in the pedi chair to begin, but with the short time and our days plans, this was our only option and just decided to just try and give it a chance. if nails are your business-- one would think keeping a good selection of nail polishes would be a no brainer-- OPI, Essie, Zoya. Again, for this salon, that would be a no. Most polishes had separated, were thick, crusty, old and some off brand that probably were purchased at the dollar store and can be expected to stay on one or two days, if your lucky. There were a few spatterings of recognizable polishes but the selection was sparce at best! I hope that my quest for a decent nail salon will be more fruitful in the future. I will never go back there again- regardless of how desperate i am! I'm just looking for a clean salon, that's reasonably priced, that is relaxing and has a good selection of polish to choose from with a staff that is friendly and good at what they do! After saying she had the exact colors I wanted and starting the manicure, she really didn't have the colors I wanted. So she did one color in gel and one in regular polish. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the owner said "sorry". Did not offer to fix or make things right. Maybe they didn't like me because it was my first time there- the place was very old and cramped, and the ambiance was severely lacking. Go elsewhere.
