I was on a cruise & during transport after cruise my scooter became disabled. I have very limited mobility & was in Ft Lauderdale & had a flight to Massachusetts in the early evening. I immediately went online to try & locate a repair service. I was at a family members home in Ft Lauderdale & called Total Mobility Services. I was in panic mode because without my scooter I would not be able to travel alone & get my flight. From the moment I spoke to this woman Johanna she calmed me down & assured me she would do anything to help! She asked me for my location & placed me on a very brief hold & told me there was a driver making a delivery not far away & made arrangements for him to pick up my scooter & bring it in for repair. Julius was friendly & amazing! Johanna called me back & stated Fernando the Tech was able to fix it & Julius the driver who picked it up would return it! This entire process was less than two hours & I had it back in plenty of time for my flight. This team of workers Johanna, Julius & Fernando were AMAZING! I have never experienced customer service at this level, and the price for this service was extremely reasonable! Thank you for all your help & your Team is A+++. I was on vacation in Miami, and was experiencing pain in hip which became intolerable. I google scooter rental because I didn't want to stay in the hotel.. after speaking with several companies I reached Javier @Total mobility service. Javier was very accommodating, he was kind ,courteous and concerned, he also shared some locations I could visit after I picked up the scooter. I immediately made a reservation for a motorized Elite traveler scooter.... I loved it. I was able to go to the Broadwalk beach, aquarium, and Casino. the rental was affordable as well. My wife has trouble walking and we needed a mobility scooter and beach wheelchair while we were at the Margaritaville Resort on Hollywood Beach, FL. Found Total Mobility Services on Yelp, and boy the reviews were right. Harry was amazing to deal with. Our Pride Go Go Sport scooter and the DeBug Beach wheelchair were waiting with the concierge when we arrived, which was a good thing since the resort is so huge. After the first day I decided I need a scooter as well, and Harry got one there pronto. No problem at the end our stay, we just left the equipment with the concierge to be picked up. Seriously... OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! I broke my foot the day before we left for our "dream" vacation to Miami ( we are from Syracuse NY) ... When I arrived I found out very quickly that I am not adept at using crutches. I searched the web and came upon the Total Mobility website. They dropped my wheelchair off to me... huh? Yes, THEY BROUGHT IT TO ME!!! How incredibly convenient for someone in my situation. They followed up the next day to see if I was happy and if I had questions- due to my error ( of not reading thoroughly) I had requested the wrong chair ... NO PROBLEM they said, they said we will be there in an hour to pick up the current chair and deliver the new one. I'm speechless. I was trying so hard to have a pity party about my vacation being ruined due to my injury but their excellent service allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation. Brand new equipment- I'm a germ freak so that was a nice surprise!!! I'm always skeptical about reviews - thinking that the employees write them, well I assure you 100% I had never heard of them or ever thought I'd need a service like this before yesterday. If I could give 10 stars I would because these folks are life savers. They went well above and beyond what would be considered a normal service request. Our scooter went completely dead on a cruise. The wheels locked and the scooter would not move even in freewheel mode. I was stressing out given that I somehow had to get my husband and a deadweight scooter off the ship and through an airport in order to get home to Texas. I called several places from the ship looking for repair options once we docked in Ft. Lauderdale. No one could or would help us until Harry at Total Mobility answered the phone close to closing time. He diagnosed the problem, did some checking and then got back to me in minutes, ensuring me that they could take care of it for us after we docked and in time to catch our flight. He told me several times not to stress which made me feel a lot better. To get it done he opened the shop an hour early and had a tech and the parts ready. Yes, he opened an hour early for someone he did not know from Adam! I don't think our shop would do that for us as regular customers. Chad, the superman of scooter tech, had us fixed up in little over an hour and we were on our way. Harry even checked up on us later in the day to make sure we were ok. So if you live in the Hollywood Florida area, or renting as a visitor, or even stranded in the area, the compassion Harry and Chad showed, and their superb service, proves that these folks deserve your business.
