I joined Total Fit for the small atmosphere and close to my house. After a few months I signed up for personal training sessions with Ricky to increase my results. Ricky had some scheduling issues so it took a bit to align our availablilities, which I can understand. Our first session was supposed to be 30 minutes but Ricky ended it after 15 minutes. My second session started 10 minutes late, Ricky left my session to go speak with another customer for 5 minutes, and my session ended at the scheduled time so again my session was about 15 minutes. At that time we schedule in person my third session. I showed up for that session and Ricky had double booked himself and was not able to see me. At this point I was really frustrated and the next day called Ricky and told him I would like a refund as I felt my time was not respected at all and that I was not a high priority. We had some email exchanges over two weeks and he eventually agreed to give me a refund within 30 business days. Those business days came and went with nothing from Ricky. I have a friend who works out there and she called me and told me that Ricky had given her an envelope for me. The envelope had 100 cash in it (refund was supposed to be 300) and he told my friend he'd get me the rest later... I never heard from Total Fit through this exchange.
Overall this has been the most bizarre and worst customer service experience I think I've ever had and this ordeal has been going on for about four months so far. Ricky seemed like a nice enough guy but his professionalism, time management and business strategy wasn't customer based at all. He did not respect my time or value as a customer and as a result he still owes me 200 dollars for an expensive service that was never provided and I was told a refund would be granted. I don't foresee this business thriving if the owner cannot afford to give a refund in full without making payments to a customer. I hope that Ricky at Total Fit demonstrates improved business ethics and customer service in the future but overall I don't recommend this gym to someone who is looking for help in their fitness journey. read more
