I recently won a "free month of training" in a contest. After the first few sessions, I signed up…read morefor a year of training (being told I could cancel at any time). This was important to me because I live about 20 minutes away across the state border and never usually go out that direction. The fitness sessions themselves were good, not spectacular. I thought when I signed up that the sessions would be tailored to specific needs (abs, legs, ect.), but the trainers will end up throwing together whatever they felt like that day. The bulk of the workouts were difficult moves, I was very sore the initial sessions. It felt great. But you have to come as often as possible to see results: they recommend 4 times a week or more. The BIG downside: their billing department is horrible. If I made a call I would receive a call back a week or more later. Not timely at all if you decided to freeze your account/make changes and there was a deadline. This also relates if you were to call for their general information if you wanted to know what time their fitness appointments were; in my experience it was a very unprofessional atmosphere, all the employees seemed to do was to goof off on the clock and paid little attention to you, the customer. The trade-off of gas to drive to Phyzique to lackluster service for $100 a month was not worth it, so I decided to cancel my account. Again, it took them a week to call me back (on the exact day that my account was to become active again, no less!) when they told me that as I had signed a 12-month contract that they would charge me until the contract was over. This was NOT what I was told initially; I made very sure that I would be able to cancel with no charges! The girl in billing sent me the contract I signed and after I looked it over I asked if she would point out exactly where it said I was under obligation to keep paying. She said she would call me back as she was busy with customers. She has yet to do so. Bottom line: if you live close by and are strongly committed to working out every single day, it may be worth your time. For anyone else who lives a fair distance and has little flexibility, STAY FAR AWAY. They will steal your money. I recommend this business to NO ONE. Would give no stars if I had a chance.

I DO NOT recommend Physzique. I joined one of their Fitness Challenges, and this is what I have to…read moreshare: - THE TRAINERS ARE PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS. Seriously. At no time did any of them during my 12 weeks of classes take the time to a.) pay attention to me and my needs b.) teach proper form AND c.) are only "certified" as a trainer thru Physzique. - UNORGANIZED! This "company" is so unorganized. They are so young, yet trying to get to big, that they don't have the infrastructure to support this growth! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Beware. - CLASS SIZES. Because this company is hyping their challenges, class sizes are huge! So large to the point most classes had to be modified for the large group. I even had to workout next to the grimey bathroom door at times. No arm room. Not enough equipment. And dumb-founded trainers as to what to do with 30+ in one small room. As well, speaking to others about their second location - same issues. - CLASS AGENDAS are random!.. SO if you can only make three classes out of the week, you just might get stuck with all Leg work outs! They DON'T tell you what classes are what or when. :( - Classes DO NOT INCORPORATE warm-ups or stretching! You are totally on your own. - CLASSES are more based on strength training, not cardio. So if you want to look lean and fit YOU AREN'T GOING TO GET IT HERE. Most of the other women that I met during this challenge that were repeat clients were rather Large and Manly muscular. Not what I wanted when I was trying to lose 50 lbs. - DIRTY FLOORS! The floor is disgusting! Imagine every class you are standing in the same location.. and as you are doing non-stop burpbees and push-ups you notice the same gobs and gobs of dog hair, people hair and WHO KNOWS hair - Always there. Never vacuumed. Smiling at you and your mouth as you try to stay focused and not eat them. IT WAS GROSS. I never saw the floor "contents" changed. - NUTRITION advisory/council - This was a joke. You are required to turn in a very comprehensive log of all your food intake every week. Physzique "grades" and returns. Out of the 12 weeks, I only received 2 back! Neither of them were consistent on grading. THIS is your nutrition guide. HUH. - NEPOTISM. Politics are thick. Physzique is inbred with family members: Amy Hunt is married to Zach Hunt. Both are owners. Sam Fairbanks is Amy's Brother etc. etc. etc. Basically if you have a problem (specifically with Sam. MANY MANY people had issues with Sam), you don't have a place to go. - 12 WEEK CONTRACT - and you are stuck! In no way shape or form are you allowed to break your contract unless you move out of state or death. Amazingly, as I had to keep biting the bullet with all of these issues, I was blown away by the responses from other personal trainers or fitness centers across Spokane. Physzique has quite the reputation for being unsafe, uncoordinated and infantile. If it's not clear yet... I would NEVER recommend. And I hope this review helps others in their journey :)

I am writing this review to document my personal experience so other pet owners can make an…read moreinformed decision. My dog, Koa, was boarded at this facility on two occasions: July 3-5 and July 10-14. I cannot determine during which stay he became ill. When I picked him up on July 14, he was noticeably lethargic and not acting like himself. Later that evening, his condition declined rapidly. He became disoriented, was unable to stand to go outside, and his temperature measured 106°F. He was rushed to an emergency veterinary clinic and admitted immediately. Over the next several days, Koa's condition was described as critical. His white blood cell count was dangerously low, he continued to spike high fevers despite continuous fluids and cooling measures, and he required round-the-clock hospitalization. Multiple veterinary teams repeatedly prepared me for the possibility that he might not survive. I was told more than once that his prognosis was very guarded and that we needed to be prepared for the worst. He underwent extensive diagnostic testing, including imaging and a bone marrow biopsy, and ultimately required transfer to Washington State University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital for ICU-level and internal medicine care. He remained hospitalized for nearly a week. The drive to WSU was approximately an hour and a half each way, and I traveled whenever possible just to see him during limited visiting hours, not knowing if each visit might be my last. Despite exhaustive testing, no definitive source of illness was identified. Koa ultimately survived due to aggressive medical intervention, including prolonged steroid therapy and the advanced care provided by the critical care and internal medicine teams at Washington State University. His total medical expenses exceeded $12,000. The owner of the boarding facility was contacted on the morning of July 15 by my boyfriend to inform her of the situation and to ask whether any other dogs had been ill during that timeframe, as this information could have assisted with veterinary diagnostics. Although I am the legal owner of the dog and the individual listed on all veterinary and boarding paperwork, the facility owner never contacted me directly by phone or email. I would have expected direct communication with the registered owner during a medical emergency of this severity. To this day, she has never reached out to me personally. Koa survived, but his recovery was long and difficult. He required months of steroid therapy with significant side effects, including excessive thirst, increased urination, and loss of bladder control--none of which he had experienced previously. Initial attempts to taper him off steroids resulted in serious complications requiring further medical intervention. He ultimately required additional long-term medication and ongoing veterinary monitoring. The emotional distress of nearly losing a family member after trusting a facility to care for him is something I would not wish on anyone. Beyond the medical crisis itself, the lack of direct communication with me as the registered owner was particularly difficult. I am not making claims of legal fault or causation. I am sharing my experience. Pets are family, and facilities entrusted with their care carry a significant responsibility. I strongly encourage anyone considering boarding here to ask detailed questions about illness monitoring, emergency response procedures, and communication expectations. I sincerely hope others take the time to think carefully before entrusting their animals to this boarding facility.
