My husband and I frequented Total Beverage on a regular basis and enrolled in their points program. For some reason, our points NEVER show up on the register. When we tell the check out person(s) that this is an ongoing issue, we get a shrug of the shoulders and no help from them or the store manager. It is clear that Total Beverage does not feel the need to retain customers. I have even emailed the store with never a response. It's too bad the customer service sucks because they do have a nice variety. I live in Westminster and make the drive to Applejacks in Wheatridge since they seem to actually want my business. read more

I didn't get her name as her name tag was probably stuck in one of her roles.) was the rudest person I have ever met. I am 39 years old, and definitely eligible to buy alcohol. I had a ID that was one week expired and I had not realized that it was expired. Instead of politely telling me their ID policy she told me to get out of the store. I asked for a manager and the reject they sent up was equally rude and just kept citing store policy. Then the manager asked me to put away my alcohol. I understand there are policies regarding alcohol purchase to avoid minors buying alcohol BUT I am definitely old enough to purchase. I did not appreciate the horrible rude attitude. They have a pick your own 6 pack that keeps my man happy throughout the week so that's a big win in my book. The cashier girl wasn't really into explaining the membership card to me. There was a lot of hair tossing and gum smacking to go along with the explanation and the fact that we didn't need it for the previously mentioned 6 pack. Never mind that I wanted to sign up for this free card, she didn't even offer it to us after I expressed interest. Weird... read more

I was carrying my bags out if the store and long story short I dropped everything $40 worth of product. The manager was walking out off work clearly about to head he to enjoy her Friday and she stopped and walked me back in to replace everything for free. And had one of the guys carry it all to my car. I'm not sure how it's possible I've never reviewed Total Beverage! This has been one of my two go-to stores for the past 3 years. Sign up for the e-mail newsletter to get their Super Sunday specials. We've gotten some phenomenal deals on the Sunday specials - and I guess I'll admit it, I'm one of those people that when there's something good, I will drag my ass to the liquor store at 9 am on Sunday morning. But come on, $3 bottles of wine? Yes, please! Overall, the prices can be hit or miss sometimes. There are occasions when I go and don't purchase anything because the item I'm looking for is too expensive and I know I can get the same thing at Applejack for a couple bucks cheaper. We also signed up for the loyalty card, so every 6 months, if we've spent enough money here, we get either a $10 or $25 credit to use. How can I turn down free booze? If you haven't been here, you should definitely check it out, and you should definitely sign up for those emails - you won't regret it. read more

Horrible experience. Recently I purchased a bottle of wine which was spoiled. I addressed it with the manager on duty. Manager was clueless about wines , customer service and how to handle an issue. In fact no resolution was provided. They do have great selection of product however the most important ingredient customer service is missing. Wow, I just got back from the most rediculous trip to this store. I rarely ever yelp, but this situation deemed it necesarry. I live just down the street from this place, and I give them plenty of my business and have always recommended this business to my friends. Today, I went in there with my boyfriend and an out of town guest at 1 pm. The sommelier was very helpful and knowledgeable, even though they didn't carry the type of wine we were looking for. One of the stock girls was also very helpful and helped us to choose a type of vodka that best fit our needs. Right next to the vodka aisle, they were doing beer and rum tastings in the wine tasting room, which most of our party tried. I declined, not being a rum or beer fan. When it was time for us to check out, we settled on a bottle of vodka, and a few different mixers. The checkout girl asked for our rewards card, checked both of our IDs, and then informed us that she wasn't going to serve us because she smelled alcohol on our breaths. Um, I would think that she would be able to since they had just served us alcohol in their tasting room!?!?!? We were certainly not intoxicated, and just been served in this establishment! I was so embarrassed and shocked that we just left. When I called to speak with the manager, nobody even answered the phone, although there were plenty of people staffed at the time. It isn't rare for me to purchase expensive wine and champagne from Total Beverage when I am entertaining guests or business clienst, but I will make the drive to Applejacks, or pay the extra few dollars at my local liquor store now. I have never been so offended or embarrased by someone in customer service before. This company needs to make sure their employees are all on the same page. I am astonished that they would offer and serve us liquor, help us find what we needed and then cut us off for having alcohol on our breath! Out of control!! Maybe this young lady just felt the need to be on a power trip, but they lost at least three customers by doing so. I will find a better place to purchase Veuve and Silver Oak, which are regular purchases for me. read more

The Sheridan Total Beverage was a Total Joke!! I went in to get some Gluvine as it is the holidays and they where completely out. That is when the lack of customer service kicks in.. I asked if they could contact the Total Beverage on 104th and I was told with arrogance and with lack of care sorry different company we don't talk with them... I then proceeded to go to so called customer service and they stated in a bothered I really don't want to help tone of voice yeah we are out and the warehouse is out and we probably wont ever get any back in.. No other comments other than that.. I drove to 104th and low and behold they had a plentiful supply of what I needed. This was around 12 pm the lady stocking the wine section was nice and courteous. The store manager made sure that he would make it right for the crappy experience and Sheridan. I walked out with two cases and the lady at the register ensured excellent customer service. Do not go to Sheridan and waste your time go to the Total Beverage on 104th they know what they are doing!! read more
