They are my favorite liquor store. Such nice friendly ppl and knowledgeable. I ask alot of questions and they are always willing to help me.

Very large, clean store. A wide range of liquor's and wines to select from across a wide budget you may wish to spend. We stopped in as I've been on the hunt for Chartreuse (yellow and green) and I received a similar response from the gentleman at the Customer Service desk - "we are out and boy, that's hard to come by." With a smile, I agreed and said we are from out of state and I figure I will just keep asking and maybe at some point I'll hear "I'm in luck." Prices were a bit higher than other stores, by a few dollars, so if you are price conscious, I'd shop around. If variety and finding more obscure items, I'd recommend stopping in. read more

Very large store. The selection is nice. There's an aisle just for Colorado alcohol, pretty cool. The store is clean and organized. I was just browsing around so I didn't engage with any staff however I saw a few of the staff hanging around if questions were asked. The prices were comparable to other stores. read more

Don't waste your time. This place has gone downhill so fast due to the greed of the owners/management. Used to have a decent end of year whiskey raffle, but now they charge full secondary prices and over after you've purchased a $25 ticket to enter. Charging $700 for a $200 MSRP bottle is no way to reward customers who have spent thousands all year. Will never recommend again and hope they go out of business! read more

If you haven't been into the Thornton store recently, its worth a visit. So much cleaner and an all around better feel with all of the cardboard box displays gone. Customer service for orders is wonderful as I needed to order 3 different bottles of wine. They were ordered and received in store within 3 days and I received a phone call when ready. Thanks Tom, Barbara, Simon, Floyd, Lane and Luis for the continued great service and friendliness I have come to expect from your store. I never buy my wine or whiskey from anyone else. read more

Really enjoyed my shopping experience here. I collect whiskey and bourbons and was able to get Eagle Rare for $41. A lot of places up the charge to as high as $99. They had a great selection. I will be back. read more

Haven't been here in a while. Only reviewing on beer. I'm a fan of choose your own six pack or just single beers. It was a hot mess. Get some order in the coolers. I picked up a beer and behind it wasn't the same brewery. It wasn't even the same style. Then I found a few beers that were packaged 6 or more months ago. Get those out of there. Especially IPAs. They have a good selection of foreign beer. read more

Went to the Thornton store - as I was craving an Espresso Martini for the 3 day weekend.. I browsed a bit first, and went straight to the Spanish wine section (I'm from Spain - and I love my vino), and they have a good selection - it's very reasonable, and fairly priced (for the US price market). I appreciate they have what they have.. But while I was looking, a gentleman asked me if I needed any assistance, and not like obligatory - do you need help, but like actually interested in helping.. I did not, and he left the isle. I had joined the Mr, and back to the cream/coffee isle to find ingredients, when said gentleman asked us both, if we were finding everything ok (as both our arms had bottles of something or the other), and I asked about Godiva Liquor. He informed me it was no longer made, but suggested another brand, actually taking us there - he didn't need to - but showed me the one he liked, and compared to others. In addition, his knowledge of coffee liquor was also impressive. I purchased both his suggestions. He explained a local distillery, and their offerings, (which we were interested in) and took us to that isle. (and yes, we got that too.) I didn't take any pictures - but you get the gist - plenty of alcohol on shelves and fridges! I am also impressed with their gin selection (again, from Spain, been drinking gin since I was 14 - don't judge)! Incredible helpful staff, lots of staff walking the floor, let alone a center desk/info area to ask if you by chance haven't seen a person on the floor. Multiple cashiers open, so no waiting in line. Very well organized sore & incredibly knowledgeable staff! Oh, and the espresso martini's were AMAZING! read more

This was my first visit to an Applejack and it was worth the trip. I took a drive down 136th street to the Premier Outlet and it was right there. Easy to find and lots of parking. The store is huge! From the size of it I did expect it to be a two story building but it was not. Walked in through the automatic doors to a bright well stocked liquour store. I went to the store specifically for a new Colorado whiskey to try and for my favourite champagne - Veuve Cliquot Brut for New Year's Eve. I walked around first checking out what they had in stock and to see if anything else tickled my fancy. I found the Colorado section pretty easily but it took a lot of aisle walking to find the champagne. The signage and displays could definitely be improved to make it easier to find things in the massive store but overall I was beyond impressed with the store. This is definitely going to be my store of choice for all things booze! read more

Went to Applejacks to get Old Grandad Bourbon. The price was ridiculous at $34.99 since it is generally in the mid $20s. Walked out and went to Total Wine where we got the same bottle for $27.99. I was really disappointed because it is such a nice large store, but at such ridiculously inflated prices I don't know why anyone would buy from them. read more

One of the assistant managers, Tom, was very helpful in finding a gift for my customer and explaining how Applejacks can ship the product. So excited to finally go to Applejack, I have never been to the original and now I believe my expectations where to high. It's a liquor store and although it is bigger then some it is nothing special. The staff was friendly, but the system must still be working our glitches because we asked about a specific bottle of wine and were told they didn't carry it but found it ourselves. When we told the person who helped us he said if he scanned the bottle it shows up, but the system didn't allow for a search. I will say if you are looking for smaller then normal sizes but bigger then shooters they seem to be well stocked. The building is clean and well organized - but I didn't feel like they had the selection in liquors I was expecting. Will I go back - never say never, but will I make a special trip - no. read more

I was in line at this store earlier today and witnessed a cashier turn away a couple who was clearly of legal age to purchase alcohol, because only one person was able to produce identification. These folks were in their 50s. The employee then misquoted Colorado law, stating it was a requirement for everyone to produce identification. Overall, the experience left a bad taste for me, as the store employee was clearly lacking in customer service skills and, apparently, the business is too popular to treat people the right way. I placed my items back on the shelf and went elsewhere - I don't like to see businesses treat customers this way. read more

This store has incredible selection and Tom was amazing! I am new to the bourbon world, and it's quite intimidating. Tom randomly asked me if I needed help and was not trying to sell me on anything, but made sure I had a great baseline for my selections. I highly recommend coming to this location and don't be scared to ask questions as their customer service is by far the best I have experienced. This will now be my new regular store!! read more

What a joke of a place. My husband and I went to purchase tonic water today with our baby strapped to us and they asked for our IDs. My husband had his but I didn't have mine since we were just purchasing non alcoholic tonic water. The lady rudely told us she wouldn't sell it to us and that you have to show your ID to purchase ANYTHING in the store. My husband went back later without me to purchase the tonic water (with an ID) and they turned him away again saying that since they denied the sale once they had to again. My daughter who is 23 years old was at the liquor store to purchase a mixer for a drink (no alcohol in the mixer). My 18 year old son was with her and the cashier denied the sale because she said that they have a policy stating that a minor cannot be in the store unless accompanied by a legal guardian or a parent. My daughter explained that she could have my son leave or she would leave and come back without him. The cashier still refused the sale and said maybe if she came back the next day she could sell her the mixer. I drove up to the liquor store, took both kids with me and bought the mixer . The cashier said that it was ok to sell me the mixer now, because now that I was there it was acceptable to her. I was not happy that I had wasted my time having to drive to the liquor store because she would not sell my adult daughter a mixer. I requested to speak to a manager and he was no help, he sided with the cashier and said that it was indeed their policy. We asked him how he knew that my daughter wasn't my son's legal guardian, or that I was my son's mom, he said he just knew. Unless they are asking for birth certificates or guardianship paperwork at the door I don't know how he would be certain, and how this rule can be imposed. It seems like they just follow this rule when they see fit or if they want to deny a sale for no good reason. I just wanted to make it clear that these people made me waste my time and gas because of a rule that is not very reasonable. read more

They deserve zero stars! Loyalty for a liquor store is supported by having what is needed every time a customer comes in. Especially a very common beer. On 2 occasions now I stopped to pick up a couple of Miller 30 packs and they had zero in stock. The first time I spoke with the "Beer Manager" who gave me a crappy excuse. This time I was so pissed that I just left. The beer manager has one job..... never again will I waste my time here! read more

This is my favorite liquor store by far. They have an amazing selection of whatever you are looking for. The best part of shopping here is the staff they have on the floor are knowledgeable and actually know about the alcohol they sell. I've gotten help in both the wine section, and help picking out a good scotch for my husbands birthday. I have made a habit of going back when I need or want something new. This place isn't the closest to my home, but worth the drive for the product, prices and amazing customer service! read more

Was at this location purchasing about 600.00 in booze. The general manager "Chris" was rude and aggressive to my brother and myself. My brother did not have a mask covering his nose but it was his mouth. When he explained he had breathing issues the manager said I don't care wait outside then. Then he said Iam not going to sell to you get out. I spend a lot of money here but will not be returning. Word of advice "Chris". Customer service. read more

I have been to this location 4 to 5 times. Each time I have come they have nothing that I want, from Seagrams drinks, JackDaniels drinks, shooters and Micheladas. It's disappointing that we have a NEW large liquor store right by us and we have to still go to the smaller ones to get what we want. read more
