She took photos of him at key locations around the WSU campus as well as in front of his College of Engineering building along with the whole family. When we met her I was sold just looking at the examples of her work and the thoughtful touches (she handed us her brochure all tied up in twine with a button attached that had our names and wedding date on it...got to love great packaging). I was really attracted to her romantic, vintage aesthetic and she ended up being the perfect choice. She met us before our ceremony and shot all of the portraits ahead of time, including those of my husband and I together so we could enjoy mingling during cocktail hour. She was patient and funny, evening getting my husband, who HATES having his picture taken, to laugh, a lot. She really understood the feel and mood I was looking for in the pictures and they turned out amazing. You retain the rights to all of the images and she gives you a copy on disc. When our photographs from Tyra were ready, looking through them for the first time was amazing. I rode the emotional roller coaster of the day all over again as I looked through the 700+ images. First off, her communication was timely and she is very organized. As a mom, I appreciate this so much. She included access to her client closet as part of the shoot and allowed me to visit and try it on ahead of time before the shoot. Upon the morning of our shoot, she brought a portable changing room for me to change in and even steamed the dress. She also gave me a pin drop location on google/apple maps so that I can easily find her and meet at the correct place. Super easy process! She also helped me curate cohesive outfits for my family. My daughter also had a moment where she threw a crying fit during the photoshoot haha, which Taylor stayed so patient and playful.
