I had a boudoir shoot with Mike at Unique Moments and it was amazing! I wasn't able to get anyone to come with me to the session so Mike was able to have his wife Karen sit in, which made me feel so comfortable. They were both awesome, I had never done anything like this before and did not know what to expect. It was great! I got to the studio and got my hair and makeup done, which was so fun to be pampered! Then mike went over what to expect from the shoot and showed me some pictures of other boudoir shoots so I could visualize what it was going to be like and what the typical poses were. Then he asked to see the outfits I brought with so he could plan backdrops and props. There was a bathroom to change in and at first getting into the outfits was uncomfortable, but once he started taking the photos and showing me the pictures I got more comfortable. He was very professional, if I needed privacy while changing poses he would go to the other room and then come back in when I was ready. He tries to give as much privacy to make you feel comfortable. Going into the shoot I thought it was going to be weird and uncomfortable but it was so much fun! It was such a confidence boost and it helped me feel comfortable in my own skin. Mike and Karen made me feel comfortable and beautiful it was way more than I expected going into the shoot. The photos turned out amazing, Mike was so prompt with getting them to me so I could pick out the ones I wanted and the communication was easy and fast over email. Okay Ladies. . .we all like to feel sexy and beautiful but how many of us really do, especially as we age? In pictures? In lingerie? I'm 50 and wanted to do a special secret something for my hubs. Always wanted to do boudoir photos but didn't feel I had "it." Then I see this amazing deal on Groupon and close to my house no less so I got brave and bought it!! What.An.AMAZING.Experience! I went in all nervous and feeling a bit apprehensive. Tracie did my hair and makeup and was so wonderful! She made me look better than my best (yet I still looked like me. . .if that makes sense!?) She was so nice, definitely made me feel beautiful, this started the "at ease" process. Then it was Mike's turn. . .he immediately put me at ease by walking me through what would happen, showed me some sample pictures of what we'd be doing, we looked over the outfits I brought, and then asked if I was ready. He showed me the room where I'd be doing my outfit changes and then we got started. He is beyond professional yet still personable and fun. As music played in the background he guided me into position both verbally and by example which really was helpful, fixed my hair when needed, and told me just how to pose. He made posing so easy! During any pose change he would either turn his back or go into the other room for privacy. He very much respects your privacy. I had sooo much fun! I felt so comfortable, beautiful and yes even sexy. We used UM Photography because the photographers were family friends of my husbands. I didn't really know what to expect, but I was blown away! Mike and Karen are excellent photographers with an eye for posing. They did posed and candid shots that look fantastic! Turn around time was very reasonable!
