We had a nice meal for dinner at the Greek Spot in Red Bank. We love coming here except sometimes…read moreat very Peak weeks in summer it gets very noisy and extremely busy. We came back this time and it wasn't noisy and to note it's BYOB. The staff is always nice and we always enjoy the food. We will be back again soon. Enjoy!

This is my second time at the Greek kitchen. The first time was back in November 2024. I had the…read moreoctopus, the Greek paella, the mashed fava beans, and my friend had their lamb kebabs. The food was very good. The Greek paella was delicious and the portions huge. The Octopus was a bit tough. So I came here again for lunch last week (5/25), and I ordered the fried calamari the Spanikopita and the grilled octopus with mashed fava. The mashed fava was delicious and has become my new obsession. However, I disappointed with the rest of my lunch. The octopus was tough and one small portion had a bitter taste slightly like vinegar. It could've been that it was charred on the grill And so it tasted a bit bitter. I still ate it trying to find a piece that maybe would have tasted better and tender and then that brought back a recollection of the last time that I was here that my friend and I felt the octopus was a bit tough. Most likely overcooked. The fried calamari did not have flavor. At $21 for the appetizer, I expected better. I have a hard time trying to find good calamari and I think I've been to maybe two places that actually seasoned the breading and the calamari was delicious. Not here. It also was not served with lemon. I've gone between giving them 3 or 4 stars but decided on four since I can't give 3.5. I'm basing my rating on the cleanliness of the place, the space, the service, as the young lady who was my waitress was an absolute doll, and the fava, paella, lamb kebabs and huge portions. Would I go here again, yes, I would, but I will try other dishes. I will not be ordering the calamari here or anywhere else again nor will I be ordering the octopus here again. Note: for lunch, I spent $55.45 for the 3 items, not including tip.

Yeah that was my mom and thank you Yelp for helping me find GLO! I got the Harvest Bowl which just so happened to be Vegan and Gluten Free. It was delicious and packed with all of my favorites like sweet potato, black beans, quinoa, etc. I usually don't opt for vegan cheeses but I honestly couldn't tell. Oh! And the lemoncane that I got (bottled from the fridge) was sweetttttt but so good. It was pretty expensive at $9 for the bottle, but loved that I could read all the good that it does like aiding in digestion and more wonderful things. The space is so cute with a few big tables inside and even some outside. I even took my laptop out and got some work done while I waited. Cannot wait to return.

Mixed feelings. I used to rave about Good Karma. In fact, when I was still living in NJ, I would go…read morethere regularly. Since moving to upstate NY four years ago, I only get to Good Karma when visiting family in NJ. During our latest trip we stopped at Good Karma to pick-up dinner on the way to my parent's house. We ordered the Love Bowl, Gado Gado Salad, and the Live Nachos. Issues: 1) The Gado Gada salad was a big miss. It's supposed to include lettuce, tofu, cabbage, carrots, roasted peanuts, and a sesame seed mix. There was ZERO sesame seed mix and literally ONE roasted peanut. We had asked the tofu be swapped for beans, which did happen, but basically all my wife got was a salad with lettuce and beans. 2) Live Nachos: what a HUGE disappointment. I've had these a number of times in the past and was really looking forward to these. One of my favorite parts has always been the creamy cashew sour cream. THIS TIME, there was one small dollop of the cashew cream. We basically paid $15 for a box of seasoned lettuce with 8 nacho chips -- not nearly enough chips to even eat with our seasoned lettuce. The Love Bowl, fortunately, was on par with my past experiences. However, the experience still left me questioning whether it's worth returning to Good Karma next time.

Service is very friendly and has a local feel. Menu is extensive with multiple vegan options. 1. Buffalo wrap - not much buffalo but was flavorful and lots of veggies. Filling still and delicious 2. Big Mac - didn't eat the middle bread part as it was lots of bread but the "meat" is good albeit a bit messy 3. Brownie - delicious, heavy, took part of it home Overall loved the options, came out hot and will be back to try more!
