We needed the car and were heading out of town (in Memphis just for a short visit), so Cagle repaired the hose and let us know how to make a more long-term repair later when we had the time. We lucked out on timing -- they were able to look at and repair the part first thing in the morning and had other customers calling for availability all while we were there. But they got us in and out faster than I've ever seen any other car repair. From breakdown to driving out of the garage, we were done in less than three hours. I work out of town and have a daughter and had been borrowing family cars, but that ran out so I was going to get a rental BUT he reassured me that he would take care of things for me, so I held off on the rental and still struggled to get from A to B, based off of he chose to respond or not. He came and put the water pump on, but then my battery light came on right after he put the water pump on; initially I had just got the diagnostic done from Fire Stone and my battery was very good based off their diagnostic and also no lights were on so I had no clue why the battery is now showing low; either way, I didn't point fingers, I just listened to what he told me, due to my lack of knowledge. He reassured me that he would be back the next day to finish the job, in which he tells me the diagnostic was showing a NOW NEW code coming from my car, in which I totally it wasn't showing when he first ran the very first one And that he would fix it. Either way, each day after, I was met with excuses or rude responses informing the lack of my importance of my vehicle getting fixed, based off his prioritlies in his life. I understood life, but my life was in turmoil and I had paid this man to fix my car and was left dissappointed. I filed for a dispute through PayPal to get a refund for his services due to the story that was just told, my car was not fixed! And when I told him this, he tells me I paid him to put my water pump in, which is silly! Why would I pay you anything if my car would just be sitting here before and after you finished, makes no sense! I paid you to fix my car and you told me the labor cost and I paid you! It's his fault he didn't come to meet and greet me when I requested before even touching my car! And after he touched it, new codes popped up in which I was confused about! I have been nice and understanding but I have been played with. i also have reached out to him, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt and have been left on read. But he texted me soon as he got the notice of the dispute. He seems like a good young man, but I too, am a nice young lady that was taken advantage of! I wish you the best on your career road, but I will never work with him again. He continued giving me the run around about coming back to complete the job, NEVER AGAIN.
