Very good place to find used auto parts if you're savvy on such a thing, and you don't mind getting you're hands dirty as you have to pull the parts you need off of the vehicle yourself , you do have the option of having the part you need removed for a fee and as you're trying to save money ,that fee is going to add to the bottom line of cost paid, and may be counterproductive. Also note that they only pull parts on certain days, so call ahead. Their are a few things that I don't like about this junkyard but I'll get to the good first, first off they do honor the military with free admission, so if otherwise its $2 bucks weather you buy something or not, secondly you can go online and research if they have the model of car you're looking for and also the location of the vehicle in the junkyard, you definitely want to find the vehicle online and make a note of the location before you go onto the yard, especially in the summer, trust me its blazing hot and you're going to be sweating profusely - this is not the time to do you're research. Also there are a few golf carts but largely you'll be on foot and the junkyard is huge so bear that in mind on very hot days. The last thing I dislike about this junkyard is that their prices seem to be a little on the steep side compared to other junkyards, so do your research and make sure the money you're saving is enough to warrant the trip and the hassle. Lastly there is no denying that the junkyard can be a very exceptional value versus new, especially for interior trim pieces which can be had for a few dollars versus dealership prices. read more

I've always loved this junk yard but today my opinion of the employees has detoured me. I was quickly told I HAD to wear a mask in the building (which had all the doors wide open). Fine, I can war a mask but wait. How come the employee that's eating a full blown meal on the counter at 9:45 is wearing her around her neck? I asked about why she doesn't have to wear one and she yells "I'm on lunch". Weird. Place opens at 9:00 and they start lunch breaks at 9:45. read more

This Pull-A-Part location is great. For those people who appreciate the joys of owning and operation an older (10 years +) vehicle, most likely paid off too, this place pays us dividends. This is not a typical junkyard. Rather, vehicles are sectioned off by Manufacturer and Type. All on a gravel surface, no muddy fields and kudzu here. My current vehicles have many, many, many miles on them and the youngest is 13 years old. When a part fails or a body panel needs replacing, I come to Pull-A-Part. This place saves me money. For instance, I spotted a like new Duralast (Autozone) alternator from a vehicle for $20-$30 dollars, installed it in an F150, and it's been fine for years. Pull-A-Part is absolutely fantastic for those hard to find interior, engine, brake, suspension, etc. parts. I have replaced many different interior knobs, handles, trim pieces from vehicles here. I needed a set of cadmium plated power steering pump bolts and didn't see any on online auction sight. So, went to Pull-A-Part with my stubby ratchet and metric sockets...problem solved! Also, this place is great for upgrading your base trim vehicle to luxury trim levels. Put some $$$ Lariat seats into that base model XLT. Try going into Autozone and asking for an ashtray for an old Cutlass Brougham or a Lariat dome light bezel for an 1989 Ford XLT. Won't likely happen. Pull-A-Part also has a neat feature where people can search for new vehicles this place brings into the lot. There inventory rotates frequently and when a car is used up, it's likely sent to the crusher for recycling. However, if you're looking for a popular part, you have to act fast as some people will pull parts even if they don't need them and resell them on the market. There is a $2 admission fee and you have to bring your own tools. Also, go see Miss Carolyn at the register. She is so helpful and enthusiastic about her job! read more
