excellent experience, all-around! after enduring a…read morelunchtime wasted at a nearby restaurant (mama's place), I made sure to not to follow one folly after another, and checked yelp for a spot to get dessert. I left lunch hungry and with little time to spare before tarpon springs closed its businesses for the night. there were several bakeries on the area's main drag, which were (literally) lined up out the door. while the goods inside looked tasty from the outside, lunch now had me all the wiser. a long line and an appealing window display offered no insight on the taste of the goods inside. I found national bakery nestled on a little side road. there was no line, no frills. when you step inside, though, you'll be greeted by a baker who has been serving fantastic baked goods with superior customer service at incredibly fair prices -for decades. the woman who helped us was SO incredibly friendly. she stayed open late just to answer our questions about the area -after having already served us some of the most delicious baked goods I've ever had. I'd recommend going for the goodies, the friendly conversation, and old world atmosphere. skip the lines and overpriced, overhyped "show" goods.... spend your money and time on food you won't forget.

Copenhagen Café is one of those places that deserves a lot more attention than it gets…read more It's a great spot to grab a coffee or tea, catch up with a friend, read a book, or play a game (they have several available). The gelato is delicious, and the bakery case feels like something you'd stumble across in Denmark. One thing I've always appreciated is how welcoming they are to local teens. Whether they're stopping in to study, meet friends, or just hang out, the staff has always been accommodating and kind. I've also had dinner there a handful of times, and everything I've ordered has been delicious. This place tends to fly under the radar, but it really shouldn't. It's a charming local gem with great food, great drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

My sister's latte was okay, on the sweeter side. We did not get any gelato so that is not factored in this review! Purely based on coffee, I'd give 3 stars, but the service and ambiance bump it up to a 4 for sure. Spacious interior, comfy assortment of chairs, section filled with boardgames and magazines. And they are dog friendly! Like, you can take your dog INSIDE!! There's also outdoor seating but the vibe/view isnt amazing since it's on a side road.

I really liked Parthenon! I swear it was one of my best meals all week since I haven't been feeling…read morewell. We ordered a few appetizers including saganaki, calamari, and broiled octopus. Of course the saganaki and Octopus was the best. We also ordered gyros, pork souvlaki, and a fried cod fish sandwich. My order was the pork souvlaki! It was really good. The tzatiki sauce stood out as different than I have had at other places. Our service was impeccable. Our server was very cheerful. The owner was cheerfully inviting people in for lunch or dinner! He was really nice and funny too. We can't help but be happy that this restaurant is dog friendly, and nicely shaded! This is a fun Greek Choice on the Sponge Docks right next to the Sponge Exchange and across the street from the Sponge boats on the water.

Big murals and fake brassy gold items. Our server was ok, seemed a little put off to be working, but no outright issues. The restaurant seemed to fill up more the longer we dined and kept the servers busier. Food was good, portion sizing being the pro here. Meat in my gyro was plentiful. Taste was good too. Other ordered flatbreads and again they filled a whole large plate. Cant say they were the best ingredients, but filled us up. Overall ok experience. Maybe for a more authentic meal try somewhere nearby.

Many other treats were showcased in the displays including a selection of cheesecakes, tarts, shortbread cookies, and more. When we stopped in on a Saturday, the shop was decently busy with about 6 or 7 different groups making selections. Two people were running things while a third handled a holiday display in the corner, but she popped in and out to assist as well as the line for the register grew. There wasn't anyone sitting down to eat their treats while we were there; it was all to-go orders at the time, but there are several booths and tables to sit at if you want to sit and savor your treat.

Their desserts and drinks are identical as well as price. I even had my drink served in a Hella's Cup at Taste of Greece. Just no line which was great. We ordered a baklava tiramisu and a Greek Frappe. We liked our baklava tiramisu and my friend ordered a lemon cake. We liked the baklava tiramisu and they liked the lemon cake better. My Greek Frappe has the foam layer on it and I liked it better than my friends Greek Coffee which is served as a small cup of espresso with the grounds on the bottom. It was still just ok to me but I had never tried Greek Coffee before. The Ambiance was wide open and bright with tables inside, & outside. It was a nice visit with nice helpful people working there.
