She wasn't even POLISH and our neighbor who was Slovakian made them and they were delicious with lots of filling. Yours taste like powdered dough with no filling. To make matters worse I make them too and no one has ever been disappointed. These cookies are too expensive to throw away, so I am eating whatever they taste like. Good thing my wife didn't travel 75 miles to purchase them just 10 miles to Leesburg.
