Since his birthday happened to fall on Thanksgiving this year, I needed to locate a bakery that could conduct a sale within a day or two of the huge holiday. Sweet Caroline's staff picked up the phone, took my order for two cupcakes, processed the $9.00 payment, and ensured my cupcake order would be ready for pick up the day before Thanksgiving. A nearby family member picked up the order (and reported the bakery to be packed), and dutifully stored the German Chocolate cupcakes in the fridge until it was time for the birthday celebration. I'm not a huge fan of coconut, but these cupcakes were absolutely divine! The chocolate was rich and the cake itself was so fresh. Pops loved the surprise. I am grateful that Sweet Caroline's Bakery was able to deliver on this super special occasion.

I submitted online payment through PayPal after the owner e-mailed me the invoice details and I e-mailed her back that I would make the payment online. Fast forward 2 days... the time that the delivery was supposed to be made came and went and there was no delivery. When I called to inquire, she said there was no payment so the baked goods were never put into the schedule. I get that she needs her money but after having my cell phone number and my e-mail address and all the back and forth communication, I do not understand why she did not call or confirm whether I was still interested in the delivery surprise. Luckily, there are other bakeries in the area that were able to accommodate the last-minute request. Overall, friendly lady but disappointing customer service.
