We have an above ground pool for the kiddo and the tree also made cleaning a 2-3x chore. The shade was lovely, but the risk of it falling over in a bad windstorm and the upkeep was too much. We received quotes from multiple companies on Yelp and everyone quoted us 3-6x the amount we paid. They had a wood chipper truck I believe it was in front of the house and even used a blower to get rid of any debris. It barely took them any time at all. We had the stump left to make a memorial bench because we got the tree from a loved one that passed. The team did a phenomenal job. The crew was hard-working, professional, and extremely thorough. The job was challenging because the trees were located right next to my house, fence, and greenhouse, but they handled it expertly, even using a crane to lift the trees safely over the house. Cleanup was excellent--you wouldn't know major tree work had just taken place. On top of that, one of my neighbors had a large pile of limbs from a previous storm, and the crew chipped it up for him at no charge, which was incredibly generous. His staff he brought to the site was friendly, fast, professional and experienced. We had an issue pop up and they were on it quickly, helping to troubleshot and find a solution fast. We got on the schedule quickly. We had a few trees removed, others trimmed and thinned out, and other trees in our orchard substantially pruned for health and vitality. So, they show up with all their machines and their saws, and they cut down one of the branches that I had pointed out. But then they left a 25 foot long dead branch that's obviously dead and obviously dangerous. The fellas cutting the tree did not have enough common sense to think to themselves "I should call the owner and ask if he or she wants to have that branch cut down as well.". But, no!
