I got bids from 4 different companies, but I knew right away I'd be hiring Green Triangle. Victor knows trees and showed me three of the many Douglas Fir trees that were diseased and had to come down. He walked the property taking notes. We have an acre. He and his crew also got rid of enormous patches of blackberries and scotch broom, clearing the pasture and cleaning up the front and back yards. He had a huge job to do, left the site clean, and did excellent work. He also had appropriate equipment (which was good, because enormous limbs of the overgrown trees were being chipped just about all day). The cost was very reasonable as well. Instead, these guys came and removed the branch, repaired our roof, and fixed the ceiling with such an expert patch job that you can't even tell where the hole was on our ceiling. They butchered several trees, avoided our problem tread, overcharged us and left an enormous mess. Needless to say, I was a bit gun shy on tree guys. Mike, Jon and I started our relationship last year. Mike came out and we discussed what I needed and what his thoughts were on how to solve some serious tree issues. I was given a quote and I started saving. Both Mike and the owner Jon came out this past Tuesday and they came today to start the job. Wow! The team was amazing, this was the most professional operation I've dealt with regarding tree trimming and removal. They were fast, efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. The price was reasonable, not cheap, but very reasonable given the scope of work they did. We had a stand of dead trees over 100 ft tall, leaning towards our drain field. Seriously, we had a serious problem. These guys made me laugh, they did great work and while it still hurt to write the check, I didn't feel like they didn't earn every penny. Because they so totally earned every cent! I can't really express the respect that I have for this company, they are real people, they care about their customers, and they have great integrity. I have a good feeling about how our relationship will continue through the years.
