(Though, what doesn't, lol) I came in here looking for a shirt that would be flattering, kind of modest and covering my stomach, and make me feel pretty -while being not too flashy. Kind of ridiculously picky, right? Not to these saleswomen! Three of them walked around with me, talked to me, joked with me. They didn't care that I was smelly fresh from the gym or opinionated on everything. In the end I ended up looking at a blue sparkly shirt, unsure how I'd look in it- and a saleswoman came up to me, told me she had it, and told me how she styled it. She helped me pick the right size and made me feel so good about myself, though I'm not a standard "sample size." When I walked in, clearly nervous, the woman folding clothes at the front said, "Come right in. You're in the right place. This is what we are here for!" A+. I know it's salespeople's jobs to be kind and sell stuff, but they went above and beyond with customer experience. They made me feel beautiful when I never do. And not judged. Great experience. Most places have the top and bottom as one size and sold together. Torrid, sells their swimsuits separately, which is a bit more expensive but totally worth it. I ordered online and it was a 40% off sale day. Fantastic! However when it arrived, the top was just a bit too small. I drove out the the Maine mall and asked if they would take an online return. They did, and I got a tip that was 2 sizes bigger. The person at the register seems apprehensive about the online return at first. However once she realized, she was very kind and asked if I wanted to try the new top on. It's a good thing I did, because it was too large. I finally got one that was just the right size. Perfect for me! So I was very happy to have had a great experience and this is my 3rd torrid bathing suit, they really are very nice for the big ladies. The dress my niece found for her prom was missing the tag. The girl seemingly in charge of the…read morestore at that time was unwilling to sell the dress due to the missing tag. Stated that she didn't have time to look up how much it would cost. Told us we would have to come back. We drove 2 hours to that store specifically and were told to come back another day. We offered to look the cost of the dress up on the website and were given a "good luck" response from the girl. In 5 minutes we had found the cost, and another girl stepped in to help. The second girl was much more friendly and willing to sell the dress. Fast forward to the day of the prom, and we realized that the security tag had not been removed from the dress. Tried to call the store for help, but was unable to get through to anyone. Very stressful experience start to finish with this store. If she didn't love the dress so much we would have brought our business elsewhere.
