I do love this store. It's small and cramped and they've got a ton of stuff packed into a tiny area. But the employees are so helpful and nice and they know their stock, so if you can't find something - just ask. They do carry a little bit of everything here, from t-shirts and jeans, to dresses and undergarments, to accessories, etc. I shop Torrid a lot online but once I had to return something and the ladies here were super helpful about assisting me with that. One thing I adore is that Torrid has the old fashioned dressing room policy I don't see many other places with the ladies actually helping you out. Such a bonus when shopping alone. They will go and bring you other sizes, etc., so you don't have to keep dressing and running back out and in again. read more

They have plus-sized clothing here. Yay! I primarily wear skirts, so that's what I will pop in here for every now and then. Sometimes when I come in they have a few cute skirts at good prices. Other times, they won't have a single skirt in the store. But, ya know, it never hurts to look because I never know what i'll find. The store is clean, but things could definitely be more organized. The clothes are on racks all nice and neat, but things are here and there. There's just not much organization. The good news is the employees are friendly and helpful. Luckily, they also know the method to the madness. I tell them I am looking for skirts and they can tell me if they have any or not. If they do, they can also take me directly to them. The racks are also really close together. This is not a good thing because it makes it not so handicapped accessible. If you're in a wheelchair or use a walker, then you're going to have to ask the employees to start moving clothing racks just so you can move around the store. 3 stars because this store is truly just "A-OK." Staff was unfriendly and uninviting, the entrance was blocked by tables and signs. In a place where the governor and mayor have lifted all mask mandates they are still enforcing masks in their store. They had no masks to provide for customers. I buy my bathing suits from torrid every year, and was hoping to buy a few dresses for some upcoming weddings this summer. I had torrid cash I was looking to spend. Disappointed in the staff. Disappointed that torrid also did not send this location bathing suits. The next closest location is another 45 min away.we live in a beach town so it's odd to me they wouldn't have bathing suits!! read more

Oh how I love your dresses for my curves, let me count the ways... Great shop for curvy young women- or curvy middle aged women who are young at heart (me). I love some of the styles they have that compliment the average woman! There's plenty of what I would classify as club attire too. I like shopping at Torrid for everything fashion. They have the cutest dresses, trendy Tshirts and hip jean's. The only thing I don't like is the prices but on the upside they have coupons that help a whole bunch. If you like edgy and love Disney, you will love Torrid. The ladies are always helpful and sweet. If you can't find it in the store they can order it for you and you can pay in store. This is by far one of my favorite stores. read more

Why is this place so expensive?! A lot of the tops are so thin I could see through them. Also, not all plus size women want to have hemlines down to their cleavage. Some of the clothes are just plain ugly (of course, my opinion). I came in when they had a clearance special: buy 1 and get 2 free. Which sounds like a good deal but every piece of clothing I looked at didn't actually have a clearance price on it. What gives? So if I came in on a regular day clearance...wouldn't be clearance price? Lol read more

Torrid is in my regular rotation of clothing stores, when I need something colorful or funky to spice up my wardrobe. Definitely not clothes I'd wear to my conservative office. Not quite as wallet destroying as Lane Bryant, but not Old Navy either. I do wish that a store catering to larger women would leave more room between racks. There was so much stuff everywhere I felt pretty claustrophobic. Clothes were shoved onto the racks, bulging into the aisle and making it difficult to find the right size and extricate it without taking three other pieces with you. They didn't even have enough racks for every style, so often you'd find two or three types of shirts stacked on each other, making it impossible to see the ones in the back. There's a jewelry display directly in front of the Register, making checking out a free for all with no line and me left feeling like I'm in the way no matter how I stand. Shopping at this store left me with two cute dresses but a massive headache and a desire to do more online shopping. read more

I absolutely love torrid! But their store is definitely way to small! Their selection is off the chain! But the aisles are to small! The store definitely needs to be expanded because people can't get around! The register is only 2 machines! Ive waited in like for more than 30 minutes way to many times! I can't speak for all Torrid stores because I've only been to this one. I can tell you the staff can make or break a store, whether its crowded or not only has to do with the size of the space they are given. What matters is the service and let me tell you, the staff knows how to make a shopper feel like a welcome guest. A dying art these days. They help you find your correct size , bring you items to the dressing room. Sign you up for things and make you aware of sales and items that make your body shape specifically look great. Most times I go in no one will say a word to me and the staff are snobby and rude. I came in and walked right past a sales associate (none of them were doing anything at the time, just standing around talking and laughing) who said NOTHING to me. Just looked at me like I shouldn't be here. Many of the staff feel like cliquey mean girls to me and I get the impression that I'm not worth their time at all. It feels like I am a burden - NOT an impression you want while clothes-shopping. I've never once had a good experience at this Torrid, which breaks my heart because the Torrid in my hometown was always so fun to visit and made me fall in love with the company! This store also has a VERY small selection, which I can normally overlook, but I mean...it's RIDICULOUSLY small. I expect better from Torrid. Kills me to leave a bad review but after giving this location so many tries, enough is enough. I will not be back and will do my shopping on the Torrid website from now on. read more
